Anybody besides me notice the numbers on that alt look at little...asymmetrical? The baseline is sorta on the same "swoopy" plane as the wordmark above it. They took away some of the cool things that make the current Bobcats unis unique (like the side panneling), which I'd understand if they were going for a "traditional" look (like some NHL teams have done with alts.) Not classy enough to be "traditional," not unique enough to be "modern," it's just sorta . . . bleh. swilson160 Posted August 17, 2006 Share Posted August 17, 2006 Ya know, while not everyone likes the Nuggets' alternate uniform (or the Kings, or the Mavs), at least they put some effort into it and came up with something truly "alternate", very different from the primaries. Or the Cavs, who incorporated the 70's-style piping. I hate when teams just swap a couple of colors on the road jersey (and use one of the same wordmarks from the primaries) to create an alternate. Yeah, I'm looking at you, Hawks, Bobcats, Pistons, Warriors, Rockets, Lakers, Heat, Timberwolves, Nets, Hornets, Sixers, Blazers and Sonics.
