PeytonManningRocks
Super Bowl: Ravens beat Bears in a snoozerNat'l Championship: OSU beats down FloridaSC Finals: Ducks squeak by Sabres in what might be the most exciting AND least watched SC Finals of all-time.NBA Finals: Spurs beat Pistons, further sinking the NBA into oblivionFinal 4: Florida, Ohio State, UCLA and Kansas, with OSU beating UCLA for the National Championship.World Series: In possibly the most uninspiring Series ever (even worse than this past year's), the Astros defeat the Minnesota Twins behind Carlos Lee's amazing series. The ratings of this series set an all-time low. Some Possible Big Stories for 07:Soon to be former Cowboy WR Terrell Owens signs with the Atlanta Falcons, thus giving him the opportunity to play with Michael Vick. 7 weeks in, however, he starts complaining to Vick to throw him more passes, and the Falcons lose 8 of their last 10 games and T.O. is released.Several of the big-name sluggers are busted for steroid use in the 2003 tests, including Carlos Lee, Bobby Abreu, Gary Sheffield and Jason Giambi. The 100 players supposedly named in the testimony will all be suspended for at least a few games, and baseball will be down to only a few star players for that amount of time.In a Baltimore Colts-like situation, the Pittsburgh Penguins will pack up in the middle of the night and move the franchise to Kansas City, causing a riot from all of Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh businessmen will almost immediately start inquiring about the possible sale of clubs such as the Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators. TFoA
-BCS 06: Just because that seems to be the trend, Florida beats OSU 56-49 in OT.-BCS 07: Michigan gets to the title game, only to get drubbed by West Virginia. Yes, West Virginia.-Super Bowl XLI: I'm sticking by a Bears-Ravens Super Bowl. Bears win.-Super Bowl XLII: No idea. I will never predict anything about the NFL past the season that's currently going on.-World Series: A team other than the Sox or Yankees wins the AL East finally (probably the Blue Jays), and thus, makes it all the way to the World Series and gets eliminated by the Giants, minus Barry Bonds because he pulls a Mr. 3000 and retires once he breaks the record.-NBA Finals: The Suns make it to the Finals and play the Raptors. Steve Nash wins the NBA title in his home country.-Final Four: Florida repeats. It's basically the same team from last year, and since the ZOMGZZZ THAD 5 couldn't stop them, who's gonna??? Florida's gonna weather the storm of upsets in the NCAAs.-Stanley Cup: (HOMER ALERT) The Thrashers make it to the Finals, but get swept by the Ducks. Alot of people have critized the bullpen signings but we had one of the worst bullpens in the league and these pitchers have all had solid careers with AL success (something past additions haven't had). The signings were sort of uncharted territory so I think its hard to critize the moves. Anyway, I predict they end 9 straight losing season with an 81-81 finish but remain in 4th place (which I'll be really happy with)Terps B-ball: Make the NCAA tournament again after 2 straight NIT appearences with a second round exit.Terps Football: Finish 2nd in Atlantic divison
