This catch is way better then that over hyped ESPN catch, ESPN dose not like New York teams so this one wont be hyped, dont let ESPN be the only ones who tell you what a good play is.

You don'tneed anyone to tell you what a good play is.

Yeah, it was a nice catch, no doubt. Macdonald made an overall better play being able to stop the ball and get it to first in time in one fluid motion before he got to his feet

Not best ever, Edmonds diving over the shoulder catch when he played for Anaheim is the best catch ever.

Ding Ding Ding Ding! We have ourselves a winner. Granted, Jimmy's practically a god in my world, but that catch is un-friggin'-b'lievable.

Tank, you have flipped your fu*king gord if you truely believe that. Just the fact that you put those words togather in the same sentence makes me wanna toss my MacBook out the Window in disgust. This truely deserves nomination for the CCSLC's worst post of the year.

Its true ESPN loves the Red Sox, and takes pleasure when the Mets and Yankees lose.

I now designate myself as the official distributor of this award, along with the upcoming CCSLSC Worst Post of the Day ribbon.

You know, I rarely visit ccslsc anymore. I really should fix that.

Wrong, wrong, wrong. You're all wrong.

Aaron Rowand, 2006.

Making the over the shoulder catch...

...saving three runs in what was (eventually) a rain shortened game...

...and smashing himself face first into the wall into the process.

Game, set, and match.

(I'm taking bets as to how fast Tnak will get on this one because it was against his beloved Mutts)

You're right Rowand's catch from 2006 really is the catch of the year

He'll probably bring up the Endy ChΓ‘vez catch (not to mention it ended up being a double play) in game 7 of the NLCS simply because it was the moment in which it happened. But to fair, that was a great catch.

I saw, I came, I left.

Had it been after the All-Star break in '06, I'd have given you the full calendar year exemption, but according to the Wik, it happened on May 11. So, as of May 12, 2007, it was the Catch of Last Year.

I've watched both of them, and I've got to say ... Granderson pwn3d Beltran.

Beltran looked like he just tripped going up that hill and caught the ball in spite of that.
