But the same color, only outlined? Too busy.However, if the shoulder yoke was a different color, then that makes it MORE busy than if it's one color, like the Canes. A significant improvement imo.now that I would accept, at least it brings back the old penguins jerseys from the early 90s. you eliminated everything that was wrong with the jersey.And why would the Isles want to do that?And the only similarity is the sleeves being mainly the secondary color. Then i said, thats it i'm done with the :censored:ing islanders. They can take away my fisherman which is fine, i can deal with that since they gave us a modernized version of what they wore before fisherman, its a nice look everyone likes it. They can give us a team year and year out. Ok, slightly tolerable since they look nice. They even can give us Yashin which :censored:s us over for god knows how long. Again, slightly tolerable but unacceptable. And now they give us this load of . This was the final nail in the coffin for me and the isles. Most people who have posted in this thread (and are bitching about me having a little fun) have not contributed a thing towards this thread and our overall knowledge of what is happening to our beloved hockey jerseys. I think I have deserved to have a little fun when the thread is dying down. And to clarify my point from earlier, the Senators + 28 other NHL teams = 29 teams (who did not get to hoist Lord Stanley). My logic behind this is that 29 teams lost, just some took longer to lose and brought their fans and bandwaggoners through a more emotional rollarcoaster and wallet lightening ride. You know what the Sens did with all that extra money they made? Booted their team building GM for a slightly younger man who did nothing more but put together an overachieving team in '03 which was sold off to construct an actual cup winning team people expected to win. Yes the Sens had a good run, but it doesn't make up for the fact they are grouped together with 28 other teams who got to witness another team who was not them celebrate as the lone winner. There is no medal for second place in North American pro sports, you either win it all or nothing at all.P.S. - I have heard rumblings that Vancouver has not yet come up with a final jersey design.
