Here we have the baseball uniform for Simplicity U. In my opinion, Penn State is the only team in America that can get away with wearing a white baseball cap regularly. Actually, this has more piping than some of the other concepts I've unveiled (see Oklahoma) but it works. A crisp, clean design.

Ah, yes, it was bound to happen sooner or sooner. I couldn't decide which logo I wanted for the cap, so, heck, I decided to use both. For striping, I used an "actual" (self-drawn) Spartan motif. I thought for a second to go with a green version of the énsemble worn in "300":

But thought better of it. I can only imagine the new school war cry: "THIS... IS EAST LANSING!!!"

*kicks evil Michigan Wolverine visitor into bottomless pit*

And today, on my first day of my semester, we bid adieu to the Big 10's streak at three consecutive unveilings. One thing, though: we have a four-way tie for the votes leader. Who to unveil? Let's see, after yesterday's horrible loss by "America's Team" (which went as far as actually giving me nightmares last night), I'm against unveiling teams with navy or royal blue in their scheme which, thankfully, removes 3/4 teams from the fold. Yay, decision made!!!

I give you the 33^rd set:

MAINE BLACK BEARS!!!

Ah, Maine. Home of seafood, beautiful autumns, and really big snowdrifts. Really, there isn't much going on here. I was going back and forth between cap-color ideas, but went with black because it gave a crisper look that, I felt, more coincided with the team name "Black Bears". I didn't want all black, though, because that would be boring.

As you can see, here, I added yet another "original" (to this project) element to a concept. Yes, the road uni is actually powder blue.

Actually, the color balance (and the colors themselves) reminds me of what the Blue Jays should have done with their scheme. I decided against using the bear's head on the sleeve because of a slightly questionable shape on his tongue. Anyone else see what I'm getting at?

Pretty good overall. I'm not sure about the road color. IMO all road uni's should be grey. Also I think they need a sleeve patch. Maybe the bear face.

PITTSBUGH PANTHERS!!!

I don't think anyone's ever tried this before. *checks* Nope, noone off the top of my head has seen this before. I wanted something unique for Pitt, plus I had an idea in my head to try for some team. Those two components resulted in the above concept. The piping's a bit off by itself, but the pants are what sets it off. I took conventional piping from the leg (blue/gold/blue) and carried the blue up into tunnel piping, connecting the two. Voila! New piping style.

Man, this takes me back. I re-read this, and I got inspired to unveil more of these (roughly ten more done; I might do more soon).

Only difference this time is that I'm removing the voting aspect of this thread. I simply don't have time to go through and tally votes. Patience, though, as all will be seen/shown, lol.

Alright, the thread's dropping slightly, plus it's close enough to Friday, so here's the first unveiling...

NORTH CAROLINA TAR HEELS!!!

Now for the run-down on this set. First off, my main goal to showcase UNC's traditional argyle, so I put it everywhere I could on the unis. I also wanted to back away from their current over-use of navy and Nike-fication. Overall, I think we started out with one my favorites right outta the box.

Comments and concerns are appreciated. Also, don't forget to keep voting, there are plenty, plenty more sets to come. Just so you know, UMKC has the lead by only one vote right now, so it could go any way.

As a Tar Heel fan, I love this look. The striping is cool, a nice mix of the basketball and baseball temas. I myself like the navy uniforms they use. It breaks up the Carolina blue pretty well.

I like the carolina ones. I like the navy as well, but the argyle looks cool on these jerseys.
