omnibus
Looks kinda 1960's meets modern stripes. I can dig it.
JetsLuvver
A good start, but I'd change the home pants to white and put orange trim around the numbers.
kewp80
Miami's home uniform should always be orange jersey with white pants. Cardinals -- Rams -- Blues -- Tigers -- Liverpool Check out my music!
PackerBadger
"Introducing ... your Miami Jets!"I agree with orange as the main home, but with outlined numbers in the other non-white color.
koizim
Sorry, man, just not feelin' it. The "U" should remain on the helmet, side stripes should be added to give more flow to the pants stripes, and the number font is way too classic for this kind of jersey. Engine, Engine, Number Nine, on the New York transit line, If my train goes off the track, pick it up! Pick it up! Pick it up! dfwabel
I have never minded the green jersey, but only during the Scott Covington years, these uniforms are not that good. There is a historical reason, before on the 1980's, on why they call themselves "The U".Why no "M or "U-m" or even "U of M"If you have a storm on the helmet, why not a pant with more of a curve? Spearhead
I can understand the Jets references but these unis are based on some Hurricane togs from the 1950s and 60s:

quantum
I equate Miami as one of those teams that project more mainstream and modern design. This just doesn't fit the school's image anymore. FiddySicks
You have incorperated one thing that I have desperately wanted to see in some hurricane themed teams logo for years nowEvery time I see one of those signs on a Florida road I get chills up and down my spine. Its just simply so creepy. I can picture standing on an abandoned road in the few calm moments before the storm takes full force and seeing nothing but windblown trees and that sign nailed to a twisted pole. Spearhead
You have incorperated one thing that I have desperately wanted to see in some hurricane themed teams logo for years nowYeah, bucfan56, I played for a Pop Warner Leauge team named Hurricanes. We had that very symbol on our helmets and I have always loved it. Miami should be using it over the U which is nebulous, IMHO.P.S.I live on the Texas Gulf Coast and there are huge hurricane symbols are painted on some of the highways here.
