buckeyes
I was looking at the NikeTeam catalog today online and I was looking at their new "invincable warrior" jersey option and they showed examples of it at the bottom. When I saw these I could only assume that we may be seeing them out on the field next year? I know that in the past teams that have new uniforms have been seen on niketeam right around the time they come out. What do you guys think?I would guess that it is Virginia/Illinois, Georgia, Florida, Hawaii, Florida State, and then possibly Florida State again? -The Few, The Proud, The Paint Users.-
slapshot
You can't always go by what's in the catalog. Those are available options, but not always worn by the team linked to them.I didn't see any Div I (screw the names, NCAA) team wear the Invincible Warrior this season, even though it was an option. Conns09
possibly but i doubt that hawaii would go away from the tribal but i could see all the others illinois just got new uniforms two seasons ago so those would probably be uva's but all the others if they were those teams would be a downgrade

koizim
Well, in defense of Nike, the Florida-esque one doesn't look that bad. At least none of them are as bad as Oregon. The Danimal
I'm beginning to think this place is mostly viewed by a bunch of grumpy old men, nostalgic about the days of leather helmets. YELDARBfield
To me, these look like some CCSLC-style crossovers of some Nike basketball temps into football temps. To be honest, I like a few of them, specifically the two-colour, three-colour, and Double Dart temps. I like the solid block, despite its "blah"-ness, and I could learn to like the V-Jet and Invincible Warrior temps more if I first saw how they looked in other colour variations. gosioux76
If there's anything good to take from this, it's that -- compared to Oregon -- Nike appears to be showing some restraint with these designs.

illwauk
Count me as someone who loves the invincible warrior template. The double dart and solid block can work if excecuted right. The rest are just blah. I don't have a problem with side panels or piping as long as they try to convey something to do with the team's identity. McCall
Given that some of them actually say the school name or nickname, albeith rather illegibly, I think that is done just for sake of showing the template in certain variations.Of course, these could be a future one-game uniform, much like the "One Sleeve of a different color" jerseys from a few years back. https://dribbble.com/MakaioCall

slapshot
Invincible Warrior has been out since the fall '07 catalog. It's used by many high school teams, but as I mentioned before, I haven't seen it used by any NCAA teams.
