Jigga
Now y'all believe me that Memphis deserves a 2?Uh, HELL no.Memphis was #1 and lost to #2 in a nail-biter...THAT knocks Memphis to a #2 seed? Behind who, Will? There still has to be 4 #1 seeds. Who are the other three if you're putting Memphis at a 2? Oh, and who have THEY beaten of any consequence on the road? Drew22
Um, overrated? Good job UT!Hardly... it was a close game between #1 and #2.... unless you all think Tennessee is overrated as well.True, but they only stayed close with hot (lucky) shooting from behind the arc. Free throws killed them though. Eagles/Heels/Dawgs/Falcons/Hawks
TFoA
If Memphis just got straight mollywocked...then yeah, they don't deserve a #1.RIght now, I still say Memphis could get a #1 if this is an isolated incident.
rams80
Now y'all believe me that Memphis deserves a 2?If by that, you mean #2 in the next AP poll, perhaps yes. NJTank
I will say this about Memphis no way are they a championship team, they have the 4th worst Free Throw % in NCAA when the Tournament comes that will be their undoing. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
Drew22
The new number one team in the nation Tennessee got beat 72-69 by Vanderbilt last night. This should make UNC number one in the ESPN poll and Memphis number one in the AP.GO HEELS! Eagles/Heels/Dawgs/Falcons/Hawks

With Tennessee losing, I think that Memphis will move down with them since they just lost to them.

Free throws killed them though. So, being able to shoot the ball is no longer an asset? The points don't count when you're lucky? One of the hallmarks of a great team isn't high percentage shooting anymore? Ever read the rulebook, homeskillet? If the ball goes through the hoop, you get points. You score more points than the other team, you win. Thus, shooting well gives you a better chance to win. Indiana rode hot shooting to the championship game as a 5 seed. Florida rode hot shooting to a pair of championships. "Yeah, they were really successful, but really, it was only because of their hot shooting. You know, if they hadn't been so good at shooting, they probably wouldn't have even gotten that far." Think about what you're saying; it's ridiculous. I guess what I was saying it was lucky because there big men were making threes too. These guys that have terrible shooting percentages were drilling them.
