Maybe it's just me, but I will actually not watch so much football if I have to stare at those hideous patches the entire season. Upshaw was not 17+ week patch-worthy, and while his death was tragic, I'm sure most people are already over it. The patches, after this week, should be optional. Does the NFL know how tacky this looks, or is it just us? They wouldn't even let the Rams do a tribute to Georgia Frontiere, and now everyone has to wear a gigantic black dot honoring an NFL executive who was probably on his way out anyway. LEWJ Posted September 14, 2008 Share Posted September 14, 2008 Yep, they are helmet decals for the Lions and Packers too.Why are the Packers' TV numbers so large, and it seems to me that they are all angled towards the front of the jersey.Donald Drivers jersey is the worst.(This picture doesn't really illustrate my point, but if you turn on the Lions-Packers game you'll know what I mean.)Also, great play by Packers right now, nice interception for Woodson, probably caps the game.
