Any ideas what the updated retro uniforms might look like?Uniform change comingThe Pacers wore their retro uniforms for the sixth and final time Wednesday. In a couple of years, they might have permanent uniforms that reflect that design.Pacers CEO Donnie Walsh said a design change is likely for the 2005-06 season."We're definitely considering it," he said. "We've put in for it. But we haven't come up with the design. We want to do something that favors our old design. We don't want to make it exactly the same, but something like that."Some of the Pacers players have submitted ideas.The Pacers have worn their current design since the 1997-98 season."That was good for its time," Walsh said. Classy, professional, just an overall good look (minus those gold alternates)Pacers Old - Digusting. The only thing worse are the puke green versions worn by the Hawks. Why anyone would want to continue wearing those is beyond me. If they're gonna go with an old look, just revert back to the uniforms that were worn before the current pinstripes look. Those weren't all bad, no where close to the look they have now.And letting players submit designs?Worst... Idea... Ever. Let's have our local plumber give the doctor his input at the gynacologist office. Players need to play the game. Let management handle the details.
