OnWis97
LinkMaybe this is common knowledge that I missed or part of some mega-NHL third thread--if so my apologies. But the Wild will be unveiling their new 3rd jersey at the State Fair on August 30.They'll break 'em out on Oct 21 vs. Colorado.I predict a green version of the current red jersey. Otherwise a green jersey similar to the original road/home (i.e. green version of the current white jersey). Or perhaps something lame like "Minnesota" written in Rangers style or the "Wild" logo on the front.Longshot: Black. Super Longshot: Cream, with visitors wearing dark home jerseys. Disclaimer: If this comment is about an NBA uniform from 2017-2018 or later, do not constitute a lack of acknowledgement of the corporate logo to mean anything other than "the corporate logo is terrible and makes the uniform significantly worse." RIPmetrodome
the jersey will be minnesota wild in script on a green uniform. icethetics has already written a blog about it and there is a discussion about it going on in a major nhl thread. but im glad it got its own thread, b/c im a wild fan myself. im sure you could find a link to the icethetics nhl blog on the major nhl thread, but im too lazy to link you to it now. gosioux76
Good to see a green jersey return to the NHL.I'll welcome it, so long as it isn't paired with red pants. I LOATHE the Wild's Christmas look.
elsephen
I understand why they use that park ranger green color, but it truly is bad. I feel bad for Wild fans. Kind of like Predators fans. Even if you like the team, it'd be hard to show it with the apparel. That red jersey up there looks good though.
Bmac
I knew they were being released on the 30th at the state fair, but the Oct. 21st game against the Avs is news to me. Thanks for the info. BTW, I predict green with a diagonal MINNESOTA script, as done by myself here (sneek peak at a jersey not yet released in my 3rd jersey project). https://www.behance.net/bmatukewic8043

What the hell was so wrong with it in the first place that the team went away from it? They could even apply the current Machine-ish block numbers to those and call it a day. *Disclaimer: I am not an authoritative expert on stuff...I just do a lot of reading and research and keep in close connect with a bunch of people who are authoritative experts on stuff. || dribbble || Behance ||

BallWonk
Apparently a green version of this. If you're right that it's a green version of that, then the Wild will have some of my money in the very near future.
habsfan1
If the Wild alt has a new jersey design, if it's not just a green version of their home jersey, it will be hard to come up with an excuse to not change their road jersey. The road one is way too confined to the past. It derserves to be upgraded.

Maybe up close it's more distinct, but from that picture, it looks like Mtnnesota. Nnesota, which to this day is the most sacred place on earth to the Ojibwa. Just southeast of Brainerd. Little known fact that the state is actually named after the mountain (most people believe that the state was named after the Hamm's Beer motto). buzzcut
im going to the state fair on the 30th. does anyone know more details as to where in the fairgrounds it will be shown? The FAN Central building near the Food Building. The release will happen at 12:30.For those who don't know, the fair moved most of the pro sports teams(not the Twins) into what had been the Modern Living building this year.
