jimbojohnny56
Btw if you look at the records besides the division leaders the AFC East has the one of the best AFC East 16-20AFC North 13-23AFC South 17-19AFC West 15-21NFC East 18-18NFC North 15-21NFC South 12-24NFC West 11-25Going by these numbers the Pats are in the 3rd toughest Division among division leaders so that is why I believe they should be ranked in the top
The_Admiral
Well yeah that and you're a Patriots fan so you're always going to pull out whichever stats justify your homerism, ex post facto. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫
jimbojohnny56
Yes I am a Pats fan but it's not like I'm putting them in the top 5 the numbers are the numbers, right? I mean do you really think the Jags,Packers,Eagles and Broncos are better than the Pats? Right now on neutral field would those teams beat the Pats? I honestly say NO. I would also say if you look at my rankings I believe mine are the most accurate from top to bottom hands down.BTJMO
IceCap
The Broncos have a better record then the Patriots, and beat them in their one meeting this season. The Eagles have a better overall record. So yeah, I would say that those two teams are better then the Pats. I only ranked the Pats ahead of the Eagles because the Pats are leading their division. jimbojohnny56
The Broncos that beat the Pats are alot different from the Broncos now and that game was at Denver. The Patriots are basically playing the same way now as they were then not bad not great. Put that game on a neutral field and I say the Pats win that game 9 out of 10 times. As far as the Eagles I don't go strictly by the records. The Pats have one more loss but I just really think they are a better team. I could be wrong and I might be proved wrong here shortly but for the time being I don't think it is outrageous to have them ranked 8th.
BBTV
I don't think that there is any universe in which the Broncos or Eagles are really better than the Patriots. The Eagles have a shot to improve before the end of the season, but if they played tomorrow, the Patriots would have to be favored. Denver just stinks. Bengals are hanging on to a top 5 spot, to some extent because of the points the Eagles conceded against the Giants. The Chargers could be a decent pick for Superbowl upset watchers. At the bottom the Browns win and the Lions thrashing has caused some changes. NEW.ERA
NEP's Week 15 Power Rankings(1)1. Colts: Got up early on the Broncos and even though the Broncos made it a game the Colts stormed back with a beautiful drive to put the game out of reach. Now a stiff test going to the Tough Jacksonville Municipal. (2)2. Saints: Probably the toughest game the Saints will face this season an angry Cowboys team coming to the Superdome trying to save their season.(3)3. Chargers: Phillip Rivers is getting left out when it comes to MVP talk which is just fine with him as he quietly makes the Chargers in to a Super Bowl contender.(4)4. Vikings: They got back to what they do best beating up on teams and they finally did it well beating a legit team congratulations now if you beat the Panthers you get a first round bye.(7)5. Packers: Winners of five straight head into Crazy Pittsburgh possibly the biggest game for both these teams up to this point. Packers win and they're in, Steelers lose and they're done.(4)6. Bengals: This pass Sunday wasn't the Bengals that played so well this season now a trip to San Diego looms with possibly the AFC's second bye on the line.(8)7. Eagles: All this team has done of late is win and take over possession of first place in the NFC East but now a very tough final three games to go. (vs. 49ers, vs. Broncos, @ Cowboys)(6)8. Cardinals: Very sloppy loss against the Niners should scare the Cardinals straight and they can go clinch the division with a win over the lowly Detroit Lions this week.(NR)9. Patriots: They straightened the ship a bit but their is still lots to be done if this team wants to be in Miami in February. (NR)10. Dolphins: Stay unbeaten in December under Tony Sparano but a very tough final three games to close the season out even if they all are under .500 (@ Tennessee, vs. Houston, vs. Pittsburgh)--------------------------------------------------------------------------11. Cowboys12. Ravens13. Jets14. Jaguars15. Giants--------------------------------------------------------------------------(32)28. Browns: They possibly picked up their biggest victory in the last few years when the beat the Steelers. Good for them.(28)29. Chiefs: Chris Chambers drop ruined the Chiefs hope at beating the Bills.(31)30. Lions: They move up this week only because they have 2 wins and are possibly out of the Ndamakong Suh sweepstakes and now they can try and ruin the Cardinals attempt at a division crown.(29)T32. Buccaneers: Josh Freeman welcome to the NFL and it sucks even more when you play a on bad team.(30)T32. Rams: It was Keith Noll's turn to try find the Rams their second victory but their next victory might not be till April when they can cash in on the Beast Suh.Key Week 15 GamesColts @ Jaguars (Thursday)Cowboys @ Saints (Saturday)Falcons @ Jets Niners @ EaglesBengals @ ChargersPackers @ SteelersGiants @ Redskins (Monday) JETS|PACK|JAYS|NUFC|BAMA|BOMBERS|RAPS|ORANJE|
