rams80
Who was the last Oklahoma QB who did anything in the NFL? This is the point I have been trying to make on Rams message boards for the last 6 months.Does Troy Aikman count? Yes, and at the same time no, because Bob Stoops didn't coach him. CMUBrent
Rams beat Lions 17-10.Hmmm....that Detroit-Washington game is looking more and more like a choke by the Lions instead of a huge victory. Had they lost that one, the Lions would be closing in on the record for most consecutive losses. Typical Lions, can't even lose right! No Calvin Johnson=No offense.1-6, And another one bites the dust!Another one bites the dust!Last year's team was 0-16, but this is the year for 1-15. Sport
my Buddy called me from Ford Field before the game to personally guarantee a Lions victory. I feel so bad for him. He joked that he was one in about 30,000 lions fans that was actually going to see the game today.

Saintsfan
Other then Sanchez and Stafford were there any franchise QBs in this years draft. Next year looks like a big year with Braddford, Tebow, McCoy, and maybe moreI am wondering if either Stafford or Sanchez are going to turn into a franchise QB at the end of the day. In politics there is a saying that candidates tend to fight the last election rather than the current one. I wonder if those two picks in particular aren't going to turn out to be drafting from the previous years draft. They'd seen a couple of QBs come off the draft board and do well, so the Lions and Jets assumed that would be possible from the '09 draft. Obviously Stafford hasn't been helped by injuries, and Sanchez has shown some game, but so far they don't look like Ryan and Flacco. 2011/12 WFL Champions

infrared41
Why oh why did the Browns this up by winning a game? In 40 years of following The NFL, I firmly believe that the 2009 Cleveland Browns are easily the worst team I have ever seen.

In 40 years of following The NFL, I firmly believe that the 2009 Cleveland Browns are easily the worst team I have ever seen. The Browns onwership was greatly upset by their win. Add to that the possiblility of winning another game, which would practically knock them out of any consideration for the #1 overall pick, and the Browns had no choice other than to fire first-year GM George Kokinis. Coast2CoastAM2006
knee jerk reaction is all this is. give the guy a chance before firing him. its one thing if this was a long term problem like millen was in detroit who should have been fired A LONG time ago, but you can't put all the blame on the gm who was hired less than a year ago. Spoilers!
Saintsfan
Am I wrong ion remembering that Kokinis was brought in after Mangini? If I am that makes the Mangini's position interesting. Is Mangini Lerner's guy? Or does Kokinis getting the boot fire a shot across the bows of Mangini. 2011/12 WFL Champions

infrared41
If Mangini is still the Coach of the Browns next year I will be shocked.Odds are pretty good that Mangini will be the coach of the Browns next year. This is what I think is going to happen. The offensive coordinator (and his offense is truly offensive) will be fired. Someone is going to be hired as President of football operations. (I'm hoping for Marty Shottenheimer) The new president will hand pick a new GM and offensive coordinator. Mangini will get one shot at coaching under the new regime. He will fail and be fired after next season. The only reason the Browns won't whack Mangini after this season is that they don't want to give the appearance of "starting over" two years in a row. It's a BS reason but I really think that's why Mangini keeps his job until next season.
tBBP
I'm still curious as to what the Browns brass saw in Mandoofus in the first place. *Disclaimer: I am not an authoritative expert on stuff...I just do a lot of reading and research and keep in close connect with a bunch of people who are authoritative experts on stuff. || dribbble || Behance ||
