I watched most of the game, but unfortunately missed the OT. Probably better off that way, I wouldve had a heart attack.

I kindof had a feeling the pens would come back, but I was still sure that I would be going to a game 7 tuesday. Thank goodness I dont have to.

At least two more games at the igloo.

As soon as Ottawa made it 3-0 I felt that if Pittsburgh wold get the next one that they would win.

We will be seeing a Crosby vs Ovechkin err Pittsburgh vs Washington ECF. Fleury better get his act together if they want to repeat.

Boston/Philadelphia/or Montreal could give Pittsburgh headaches too.

the last thing San Jose wants to see on the ice is the Red Wings

Correction: The Western Conference Semifinals is the last thing the Sharks want to see.

San Jose has advanced to the Conference Semis EIGHT times in the history of their franchise, and only advanced out of that round ONCE. That kind of futility is staggering.

And, if I remember right, they were a hit goalpost away form going to the Stanley Cup Final.

well the Flames won that series in 6 games. A win in game 6 and then it would've gone back to San Jose for game 7.

Phoenix is up 5-1 on Detroit in the 3rd. I think we're going back to the desert.

I'm sorry, this is bull ****. We play Game 5 in Glendale late Friday night, and how does the NHL schedule Game 6? Oh yeah, 36 hours later on the other side of the country.

... and the problem with that is?...

I saw, I came, I left.

...not allowing teams to fully recover from the previous game. If you're watching this game, the Wings look tired. And when you're tired you take bad penalties. And if you're too tired to defend those penalties, you're gonna pay the consequences.

This is a scheduling loss if I've ever seen one.
