However, I read somewhere that they were scrapped because the numbers weren't legible (circa 1998). If the Saints went back to this shade of gold, in addition to the advent of HDTV, do you think the Saints brass (no pun intended) would return to white jerseys with gold numbers? Smaller elements like the FDLs & NOBs might need to be black with gold trim to be legible though. I'd love to see them go back to gold numbers and to return to the original shade of gold as well.
