So yes, they appear to be dead for the time being at least. Pants, socks, and cleats are not something fans invest in so I think the NFL allows teams to make changes to those more frequently than jerseys. The AFL 50th celebration was an appropriate and good time to usher them out, but now it is time to honor the Jets as the Jets.However, kudos to Nike if they had a hand in rolling these out for at least one more season so they can make a buck. canzman Posted May 29, 2012 Author Share Posted May 29, 2012 While there is no confirmation if the white striped socks still exist for Cleveland, or if the Rams, Vikings, and Cowboys are staying with their respective Throwbacks from the past few seasons I mocked them up on the Nike Template just to see how they would look.Again no confirmation on these yet but I mocked them up since none of these teams have announced anything about making any changes.
