I know green isn't a Maryland color, and they use more of a brown shade for their Terrapin logo, but turtles are generally thought of as green. So in that sense, it would still work very, very well.And that's of course not bothering to mention the main reason for it, which is that grass is green and it's what we're all extremely accustomed to watching football on. If they could do the pattern with grass, similar to how MLB teams have logos in the outfield, it'd be really, really nice. Love the endzones, too.
