Congrats to Saskatchewan and Most Outstanding Canadian ( Bahahaha, I'm sorry, Canada, but seriously? To quote Barney of HIMYM, "This is why we make fun of you" ) wide receiver Chris Getzlaf, brother of Anaheim Ducks captain Ryan Getzlaf!

Congrats boys! :flagcanada:

I'm ok with it because neither of the original Alouettes teams still exist. So when the Baltimore Stallions moved to Montreal and took the Montreal Alouettes name they weren't stealing a lineage from another franchise that was still playing. If either the Alouettes or the Concrods/Alouettes had relocated instead of folded and were still playing when Baltimore moved to Montreal, then I would have a problem with them using the Alouettes name.

But I'd assume that you, like me, have an issue with them claiming their history.

Also: new third jerseys next year.

Definitely. I'm just ok with them using the name, as the original Als no longer exist in any form. Just like I'm ok with the Senators using the name of the original team so long as they don't get the history.

I know it's the boring idea, but I wouldn't mind an athletic gold recolour of the Ti-Cats primaries.

Thirds for everybody?

Yep. Part of a new with Reebok. Personally, I'd love to see the Argos use the '80s throwbacks they wore for a game this year. I'm just hoping it isn't Cambridge blue.

Sigh, the Stamps are probably going to have all black. I could see them using their away helmet (which I don't like), a black jersey, the home black pants and the black socks from the away jerseys.

It's like in the past decade or so the Stampeders with black are like the kid who gets something new and wants to show everybody that he has this new thing that everybody else has or has moved on from.

So the Bombers named Mike O'Shea their Head Coach. Loved him as a player, so hopefully he brings that same spirit to being a Head Coach, and the RedBlacks went a bit off the board picking former Stamps D-Coordinator Rick Campbell as their first coach.

I wonder if the GREENWHITES will be repeaters?

Eventually the two teams will merge to become the REDGREENS.

No they'll change their names to the Red Greens and the Redgreens.
