JPDesign
http://www.soonersports.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=31000&ATCLID=209453280I still believe that "Red River Shootout" was the best name the game's had, but this new iteration is better than the toungue-twister inducing "Red River Rivalry." Originally the game was known as the "Red River War."The previous logo, for reference:IMO< if they were looking for a new mark they should've gone with the patch Nike had on their unis:

cajunaggie08
I always thought this version of the game logo was clever, even though the longhorn logo is a very poor V.
raysox
Are they still going to be playing at the Cotton Bowl? Or have they moved it to the JerryDome? @MichaelDanger19Â | Dribbble

LoneStarBear
Are they still going to be playing at the Cotton Bowl? Or have they moved it to the JerryDome?Still @ Cotton Bowl... the game is always played during the State Fair of Texas and the Cotton Bowl is right next to the fair grounds. They won't move until the Cotton Bowl is falling down.
mattb6
I don't think its called the AT&T Red River Showdown, I'm pretty sure they just put their name on it an additional time. If we go by that logic, it's been the AT&T Red River Showdown for a few years. Â
29texan
Texas/OU will continue to be played in the Cotton Bowl for years. Because it has been renovated and is continuing its renovations still (those restrooms are still stuck in the 30's) the game wont be moving to Cowboys Stadium. At least, not any time soon, anyway... pianoknight
You must be under 25.Texas certainly has the upper hand in the UT-NU series, but they only played 10 games in the history of the Big 12. Not a huge sample size statistically.Oklahoma-Nebraska, on the other hand, is one of the closest, major rivalries in the sport. After more than a century of play, Oklahoma holds a slim, single-digit game lead in the series. Ironically, both NU and OU had the EXACT same Big 12 record when they both met in the final Big 12 CCG. Oklahoma (barely) has more National Titles and Heisman winners. Nebraska (barely) has more total wins, All-Americans and better draft picks. To say that Oklahoma is wholesale better than Nebraska is pretty ignorant of the game's history. For you gamers, OU-NU is the equivalent of Ken vs Ryu (same colors, too). 5th in NAT. TITLES | 2nd in CONF. JPDesign
Spin it however you need it spin it but, OU and Texas both own more wins against Nebraska in football. The Nebraska of old died when they hired Callahan.

wonderbread
Nebraska RAN from the Big 12. Couldn't compete.Nebraska was in the conference championship game before they left. They left because they didnt like Texas taking in all the revenue and wanted to be in a conference that was more fair
