Been a while, but I've finally gotten to the next to last round of updates.

Hoping to get through the final 5 fields through this weekend

I made up a concept for what the field might look like this year. I think the quadrant color look for the sidelines should make a return as it did for XLIX in Arizona. And sticking with the general aesthetic of the past couple years with an enlarged SB logo graphic. Let me know what you think!

Here's my base template for Super Bowl LVII

I believe we will see the Super Bowl logo again be about 14 yards wide.

I also updated the template to have the correct teambox size, for this season (per the 2022 rule book).

And just some concepts for the #1 seeds

And for the teams I think will be making the Super Bowl from either conference

I would not be surprised if through the playoffs, and in the Super Bowl, if we see the 3's outlined in blue and/or red, as we saw for week 18.

The nerd in me would love for the helmets on the 25-yard line to come back.

I hear ya. Also the nerd in me would love for the end zone format to return like it was from SB XXX (30) to SB XLIX (49), with the wordmark in the middle (although there were rare exceptions with teams having their city/region name in smaller text font over team name wordmark: being the Seahawks with the Seattle name over it for SB XL (40) and the Cardinals with the Arizona name over it for SB XLIII (43), and alongside either:

* the helmets on the sides with today's facemask shown

* the team logo on one side and the conference logo on the other

* the conference logo on one side and the NFL shield logo on the other.

Florida State Seminoles fan for life (mostly on football, basketball and baseball)! 2011-12 ACC men's basketball conference tournament champions; 2012, 2013 & 2014 ACC football Atlantic Division champions; 2012, 2013 & 2014 ACC football regular season champions; 2012, 2013 & 2014 ACC football conference bowl tournament champions; 2014 NCAA D-I FBS BCS national champions!

Re-working the texture on the Super Bowl II field today, and ended up making a bunch of changes as well.

Here's what I've got now

2.png

Changes include:

Outlining the NFL logo

Updating the field number font for the 2, 3, and 5

Thicker outlines on the field numbers (and color changes at the 50)

Alternating red, green, blue, black stripped outline around the field

Silver outline on the Raiders logo in the endzone

Black outline on the footballs at the 40 yard lines

Updates to the extra point line

Added teamboxes

So a good deal of changes, that makes this field much more accurate now.

@pitt6packDo you got a template I could use for the field? I would like to spice things up. (FYI, make it without the super bowl logos)

I've got one here. You'd have to remove the NFL logo yourself if you don't want it there. Also, the directional arrows aren't the correct size, but for concept purposes, it should do.
