It uses their new global logo with the city name and team nickname below the pinwheel, but there are noticeable differences between the "PORTLAND" wordmark on the cap and what was actually unveiled. Compare this: With the actual logo: The differences are especially evident with the 'R' and 'A', as well as the lack of the tails on the 'P' and 'T' on the cap. It's tough to say whether the error is limited to the cap that was used for the product photos, or if all of the hats actually feature the wrong "PORTLAND" wordmark. It also makes you wonder if the wordmark on the cap was an early version that the team eventually decided against (though it seems rather generic, so I doubt it), or if it was strictly an error in the manufacturing process.
