2017 MLB Season

Anyone watching this bonkers Mets-Marlins game? 8-7 Marlins and it's still only the 6th. Miami had a first inning grand slam, Cespedes has homered twice and the Mets had a bases clearing triple as well.

And that Grand Slam was an absolute laser by Ozuna, too. That thing was so low by homer standards that, off the bat, I thought it'd be a liner that dropped in front of the warning track. It just kept going!

Last two teams to sweep the Texas Rangers have done horribly afterwards. Hugs for all fellow Indians fans and Blue Jays fans as well.

Beware the Rangers curse.

Wait, the Rangers got swept? Why do I have a horrible feeling that they're going to take their anger out on Seattle's half assed bullpen??

POSTSEASON

Tiebreakers

NL5) New York Mets def. NL5) St. Louis

3-WAY TIE FORMAT:

Spoiler

Teams are randomly selected to be Team 1, 2, and 3. Team 1 gets first choice of these options, then Team 2, then Team 3.

OPTION 1: Home game vs Option 2 team, IF THEY LOSE away game against Option 3 team

OPTION 2: Away game vs Option 1 team, IF THEY LOSE away game against Option 3 team

OPTION 3: Only one game, but at home against loser of the game 1 (T1 vs T2)

Finally, winners of Games 1 and 2 play in a tiebreaker.

In this situation, San Francisco draws 1, New York draws 2, and Colorado draws 3. SF chooses Option 1, New York chooses Option 3, and Colorado ends up with Option 2.

Okay, MLB. I realize it's early, but way to screw up my predictions already. Here are slightly MAJORLY updated ones above (featuring a 3-way tie for 5th in the NL!) (did I go too far?)

Wonder when/if Toronto makes a trade just to shake something up for themselves.  Even if it's a lateral proposition.

How about that? The Pirates swept the Cubs. Taillon pitched great and I think they discovered the Cubs' weakness; their bullpen.

Oh and Adam Frazier is pretty good too.

Welp, so much for that, Pirates. Starling Marte suspended 80 games for PED use.

I imagine he's scoring in droves for you! Great pickup!

I just watched some of his highlights from Korea. I mean yeah, it's the Korean league, but he really tore it up over there. Looks like, at least for the present being, he hasn't skipped a beat in coming here. Cool story, too. I hope he can keep it going.

To all those who are overreacting about this season...RELAX

15 games into the season and people are already writing teams off. I'm not pretending to know everything about baseball, but a lot can happen in a 162 game season.

If the 2017 Blue Jays were a loaded lineup & losing every night, I'd be upset.

As it is, barely anyone in the lineup is hitting worth a lick to make a difference.  It's no wonder the W's aren't coming.

Donaldson hasn't been 100% yet, & Bautista can go right ahead & stop trying to win 10 games with one swing of his bat.
