Toronto is in danger of getting swept by Baltimore. This team is going to have a hard time throughout this season replacing Edwin.

This may be the only time I can say this in the 2017 season...the Orioles OWN the Blue Jays! :D

Last night I was driving home from my hockey game and listening to music for the first five minutes of the drive before it occurred to me "hey I can listen to the Reds!". So glad baseball is back.

You are a Royals (and Cubs? and Tigers?) fan...and perhaps you should have made these picks before the Twins took two games from the Royals pretty handily.  It seems to have influenced you.  There is no reason to pick the Twins anything but last.  I'll take 99 losses if offered.  Trust me, the next 160 games are going to be an absolute nightmare.

Disclaimer: If this comment is about an NBA uniform from 2017-2018 or later, do not constitute a lack of acknowledgement of the corporate logo to mean anything other than "the corporate logo is terrible and makes the uniform significantly worse."

Dealin' Bundy was nasty last night.  Let's hope it's a sign of things to come.

Baseball's 6 games a week is what I love most.  I love Sportsnet's Jays in 30 reruns late night/overnight for after work.

I feel like the Twins have hidden talent. If offered correctly, they can be a great club.

Astros beating the Indians in the ALCS would be one hell of a turnaround, but this is baseball, and nothing would surprise me.

To be honest, Indians over Astros was the hardest pick for me in my predictions, even harder than Dodgers over Cubs. I ended up giving Cleveland the edge because I think they'll be even better this year than they were last year, but Houston is a super enticing team and they very well could take the pennant too. If not this year, I think they do it next year.

So far this season, the Cardinals are the ultimate example of "I've never seen that before in a baseball game."

Annnd... with Morales' slam + Stroman's great start, the Jays season is officially underway...:flagcanada:

ps

Apparently, Harold Reynolds asked why relievers are seen favourably with K/9 stats when they only work 1 inning or so.  He asked why not give them K/1 or K/2.

That was on my twitter feed chased with this...

The O's improved to 3-0 last night, coming back from 5-1 down to beat the Yankees 6-5. Those 5 runs they scored? All off homers.

Sounds about right.

This Rangers team is looking a lot like the mid-00's teams. Lot of homers, not a lot of pitching.

Thankfully, the bullpen shut the A's down after Griffin started screwing up.
