The Miami Heat, at one point, led the Utah Jazz by 22 points during the 2nd half.

Jazz win by 3 in OT. WTF.

EDIT: The Jazz did this with no Al Jefferson & Deron Williams fouled out. HUGE win for the Jazz.

Well I, for one, am disappointed in your taking the easy way out. I was hoping you'd bring credibility to the posters from the Ohio area -- but now it's obvious that you don't care about your legacy on these forums. Now you'll never be compared to Jordan.

What should I do? Should I admit I've never liked soccer or wrestling threads? Should I remind you that I said Ohio State didn't deserve the Fiesta Bowl bid in 2008?

Should I give wdm1219inpenna another history lesson? What should I do?

Should I tell you how much fun we had in the mbisordi thread? (Sooo, this is going well)

Should I really believe I've ruined my legacy? What should I do? What should I do? What should I do?

Should I have my Ohio State alumni avatar removed? Wanna see my shiny new sig? Should I just pimp the NHL? Or Soccer? Or Wrestling?

Or should I tell you I DON'T CARE THAT THE COWBOYS UNIFORMS DON'T MATCH! (Hi DennisBergan :wink2: ) Seriously, what should I do?

Should I tell you I'm a sunshine chaser? Did it for the weather? The SEC? Should I be who you want me to be? Should I accept my role...as another Panny? Maybe I should just start a blaze of glory thread. Should I stop listening to Jigga? He's Jigga!

Should I try acting like I like modern uniforms?

I don't understand how anyone can like the Cowboys set, with all of the color mismatches and other inconsistencies. I kind of think that liking that set as-is is basically saying that you like something just because it's old or has always been that way. There is no way that a completely objective critic could give that uniform a passing grade.

Should I be writing this down? Super-Macho-Man.gif

Should I make you laugh like Lee does? Should I write you a passionate 33 paragraph post like Lights Out? "It is the best of times, it was the worst of times. Yet the Clippers will rise." Should we just end the thread and start over? "CAN A MOD PLEASE DELETE THIS?" What should I do? Should I be who you want me to be?

Just :censored: it.

POST. OF. THE. YEAR.

The Pacers scored 54 points in one quarter against the Nuggets. The record for most points in a quarter is 58. So yeah, holy sh-t.

They were 20/21 in the 3rd quarter... and they missed the last shot of the quarter.

I was busy watching the Marcus Dupree thing on dvr and said to myself as I saw the game was in OT, "Weren't the Heat up 25 in the 2nd? WTF?", as well. Hours after Whitlock wrote this on Bosh

And Clipper Living Room gets to see another fourth-quarter chokejob. I can't stand the lack of clutchness with this team, they're all soft as hell (except Griffin, of course, although he's had a bad game).

It's definitely the worst of times right now. :P

I actually watched that game (I figure the Clippers are going to be my "pet" team this year as I've already watched basically all of their games this year & I'm a huge fan of Griffin & Gordon. Plus, you people hooked me.). It's amazing that it took that long for the Clippers to get blown out. Aminu did a great job filling the scoring void that Eric Gordon left due to injury (and Kaman was hurt too. They already need all the help they can get and people are getting hurt, wow.), but man, they were making some TERRIBLE decisions & just awful turnovers. Once again, I'd consider it a miracle that they even hung around with the red-hot Hornets for that long. Rough road trip for the Clippers.

Just watched the highlights of Indiana's big quarter. TERRIBLE defense on Denver's part, so the Enver thing wasn't too far off.

Welcome to this year's Clips: where amazing happens.

I don't even know what to say anymore. This is a team that is way better than their pitiful 1-7 record. It'd be one thing if they were just getting steamrolled like the Timberwolves, but they're not - ever since Baron got hurt and Bledsoe took over, they've been hanging with some of the best teams in the league, but have pretty much always snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. Clearly, a trade needs to be made - anything to shake up the culture of the locker room and motivate the team.

Millsap went off. I was checking scores randomly throughout the night and I couldn't believe Utah just kept closing the gap.

It's going to take the Heat a little while to gel. Give them a month.

Pat Riley is shopping for suits I hear, he wants to dress to impress when he takes over as coach.

Who coaches that team won't matter a bit until the players get used to working together. Any team with the Heat's dynamic is going to need some time to let everyone find their place. Trust me, by the playoffs these guys will be hitting on all cylinders.

Of course they're going to blow games in the fourth quarter; they don't have a coach.

Hollinger Power Rankings are out:

  1. Miami Heat 5-3
  2. Los Angeles Lakers 8-0
  3. New Orleans Hornets 7-0
  4. Orlando Magic 5-1
  5. Boston Celtics 6-2

I only listed the Top 5 teams... because I thought the order is rather interesting.

<_<

Really? What more do the Lakers have to do? How are the Heat's 3 losses better than the Lakers' perfect record? Even with the embarrassing come-from-behind loss to the Jazz...? smh
