  1. Colorado's pants (the white ones especially) feel like they need some red to cohere with the jersey. I'd be curious to see either red or yellow numbers to match the flag C a bit better; that might fix that other problem for me. Also second JJ Anderes's suggestion about the font. Despite my nitpicks, it's overall a really nice look! How would the back of that Minnesota jersey look? That would make a big difference to me about how I feel about it, I think...
  2. The new IRL logo for the Seattle Dragons of the XFL is an big upgrade from the previous, IMO, but here are my tweaks, plus a new alternate logo and some jerseys! The rendering of the dragon face is so well-done in the '23 logo, so that's kept. The odd random spikes of the mane kinda ruin the S shape IMO, so those are removed in favor of a more streamlined, symmetrical S shape. I liked the counter-colored belly on the 2020 logo, so I bring that back but in white and with the belly stripes of the '23 logo. I do like the patterned striping and number styling of the '23 jerseys, but I cannot get on board with a Seattle team not wearing primarily blue or green. I think the Dragons had it almost right with their 2020 home jersey; having just that small touch of orange shoulder trim was gorgeous! I bring back a lot of those jerseys' ideas for my take. Instead of a complete logo like on the '23 uniforms, the helmet has the dragon bursting from the edges like on the '20 uniforms; this time on a blue background. That orange trim becomes a pair of flames, which also form a negative space silhouette of mountains in front of a sunset, all above a sea of green. This is also the basis of a new football-shaped secondary logo. C&C appreciated! Thanks for checking it out!
  3. Your Cuba and Taiwan updates are great; thanks for humoring me! Italy is gorgeous, and I think that updated script is a nice improvement. I think you could get the cap logo to look like an "I," if you keep some of the rightward stroke that joins with the "t" in the new script. Netherlands look great in those colors, though maybe red/white/blue flag piping (like the soccer NT does) would be good to avoid the negative connotations of the Prince's Flag while still maintaining orange as the primary color. Certainly ditching the black is a nice move, and I like that we have a powder blue away team! (Would there be powder blue pants too?) Also kinda miss the aesthetic of the little crown on the N but either way it's fine. Panama looks excellent, though the navy + red/white/red striping makes the away feel a bit too US to me. I'd stick with red shoulders on it too and/or switch the navy to royal blue. Also, I would consider adding an accent mark on the final "a". The alternate is gorgeous; no notes there!
  4. Here's Houston... Apparently to be worn with black shorts. I always like an Astros-style gradient, so this is good, but I wish I could tell what the pattern really was!
  5. Thanks for humoring my matchy-matchy suggestions I understand the complex hem thing for Moscow; I guess another solution would be to add a black shoulder yoke on the red jersey (and red on the black jersey), since the home actually looks fine as-is. The new Moscow wordmark looks great! Love the updated Post Falls look! And the Flyers set isn't half bad, but I agree you've improved it. Also love what you've done for Sandpoint! I looked at those photos of the IRL team and I can't tell what's going on with those baseball cap logos lol... This set is a marked improvement. Love that alternate especially; no complaints all around.
  6. I like that Taiwanese alternate quite a bit, though I'd like to see it with the front number of the original design. I also think the flower shape of the Chinese Taipei Olympic logo is quite nice, so I would be curious to see it here instead of the plain circle. The sun-only cap is really nice, though! The primary set is solid, though a bolder (and maybe more stylized) font like in the inspiration would probably be a lot nicer. The Cuba primary set is gorgeous! And the alt just needs the script and front number stylings to be swapped. I just hope Colombia's cap is changed a lot because right now your Cuba cap treads on that styling a lot.
  7. Definitely an improvement on the real deal! Love the script font. Not necessary, but I would be curious to see a version with a touch of yellow still (maybe for the squatchee, the Nike logo, and/or a sleeve stripe?) As gorgeous as the WBC logo is, though, I don't think it needs to appear on the uniform 3 times. I'd ditch the back-of-neck one, personally. Good work!
  8. A gorgeous set! Totally agree with @VampyrDesign; I love the pants stylings. Looks just as good either way with the green cuffs or not on the away. I actually like the tan gloves on the green alt; I'd actually be curious to see it with tan pants with green stars on them, not that the way you have it isn't already gorgeous. My only complaint is that the shoulder star ought to move downward, so that it has the green yoke only on the top side of it. (That way, it'll kinda be like the border of the yoke!) Excellent work!
  9. Would look good to have that Greek pattern somewhere, like the cuffs and collar... Either way, a solid look.
  10. Maybe I'm not in the majority here, but I feel like you had it pretty close the first time! The original basketball behind the columns of the bridge tower looked quite good. I think moving the tower elements to the top of the shield doesn't really read as the Brooklyn Bridge to me, and so IMO it comes off a tad generic (not as bad as the actual IRL design though lol!) All I meant about resembling a net was that you could have the bottom of the shield end be a flat horizontal edge rather than a full corner. The combined basketball seams/net thing you're going for could work, but I think the left & right edges would need to not be perfectly vertical lines... The tighter hoop is a big improvement, though; that's exactly what I had in mind!
  11. Would prefer to see the Spartans with black hems and the Greek pattern in the hem stripe. Besides that, the set is gorgeous! Love that third jersey. Idk I'm not a diehard hockey fan or anything but I don't get the hate you're talking about for that Trojans alternate, it's really nice! I prefer that to the Rangers styling of the primary set, even though it's solid too. Would be fun to have the script appear on one of the jerseys too. No complaints about Lewiston. I really love that Lakeland set; makes me wish the North Stars had had a sleeve-length yoke jersey. Only suggestion would be to ditch the outermost white logo outline. Not about the lack of hem striping for Moscow. Also feel like the logo, which is excellent, might be better served by having the "Bears" text replaced with Moscow on the road, and ditching the text above it altogether. Lastly, I do think the MHS monogram is a bit of a downgrade from the original. Same thought for Lake City; the set is completely gorgeous except for the mismatched hem stripe on the alternate (which is so good it could be the primary, IMO!) Anyways, good work!
  12. Gorgeous stuff! So smart to have that tonal Adidas striping for the Galaxy's shoulder yoke. While I'd rather see the original NASL colors, you do the idea justice for my Sounders in the current colors. Deleted my Twitter a bit ago, so I would love to see this series and comment further on it on the Concepts board!
  13. 1982 fauxbacks! My pipe dream is blue/white/blue (or blue/blue/white) as a permanent secondary kit combo, worn every game against Portland, home or away. Save the wild color schemes for thirds!
  14. Really weird that the back is black when the front pattern reads as primarily blue to me. A bummer, IMO.
  15. That neon sign has a QR code to a page with this graphic! A little bit of a relief that there's at least gonna be some yellow. A red & black ONLY jersey would make the new advertisement even bigger Thorn in our sides. >: (
  16. Love the jerseys for DC! No complaints other than I wish the blossoms were a touch more visible on the road. Those colors are really nice! I like the added cherry blossom, the new "United" font is solid, and the new shield works alright on the logo. However, the Capitol doesn't work well for me so high up there, and I'd rather see it lowered with the point just above the eagle's head, or incorporated into the flag somehow (arched striping?), or removed entirely. The "DC" could be in the same font and line as "United," or you could shrink the flag stars and put the D & C between them. Dallas looks great with the D+tornado logo! Lol I do think that's an issue with the Rapids logo though
  17. The Courage have a new jersey sponsor, and have released their new away kits.
  18. I haven't been here that long, but I don't think I've encountered a KHL concept here before. They've got some teams with such good branding; glad to see those designs get some love! Good look for Sibir; it's a nice hem striping that straddles the fun-classy line very well. The pants feel a touch out of place when compared to the jerseys' white snowflakes; I'd go for a single white snowflake below the white double pinstripes to match better... But even if they don't match, the pants you have are quite nice, they make me imagine a set where each row of snowflakes is a different color as you go down the pants to represent falling snow, in a sort of tonal navy to light blue to white gradient! Maybe that design could reappear down a navy sleeve-length yoke; who knows? The alternate is also nice; the vertical body stripes are an underused style. The yoke is a touch too long for my taste, though, and I think this could work well as one of those combined nameplate-yoke designs rather than having the counter-color nameplate. Traktor looks good with the T striping! I'd just continue the sublimation all the way up the sleeve to the collar, though... (and possibly even as a bit of a tonal hem stripe below the bear in the black section?) Anyways, nice work!
  19. Not much to say besides this is gorgeous! Blows the other conference logos out of the water lol It makes me wonder how a full wordmark based around the hexagonal-ish C would work.
  20. Big improvement! Thanks for humoring. Actually looking back into it again, it was supposed to happen for the MLS Next Pro launch. Fingers crossed it's still gonna happen, but there's been no word for a while. As for Yaquina Bay, it's a gorgeous crest and a gorgeous home kit! One of your nicest. Not wild about the away. It's a good idea but I think it'd work better if the contours were more pinstripe-y than color block-y? IDK.
  21. Not feeling the addition of the black on the road set. It kinda muddies things up and drowns out the pattern a bit. It's fine at home though, if you wanted to treat that as just an alt for the current set. It does make me kinda curious how the away would look with the cream outlines on stuff kept, though.
  22. Gorgeous work! I think my main suggestion would be to shrink the hoop horizontally so there's not that empty space between it and the shield. Otherwise, everything comes together really well IMO. Not necessary, but you might also consider flattening out the bottom point of the shield; that way, the shape below the hoop would be more suggestive of a net. Excited to see the rest of the branding package!
  23. Agreed. Looks way better with the red. I'm usually on board with the Charlotte Hornets / SJ Earthquakes model of resurrecting old names, and "Dallas Tornado" is certainly a better name than "FC Dallas" IMO... But keeping the bull logo almost as-is, as nice as it is, with such limited Tornado-themed branding doesn't really work with that name in my mind. To be honest, you could probably just use that excellent D + tornado logo as the primary crest! Or if you're really hoping to keep the logo mostly as-is, you could at least change the Burn flame to a tornado... I'm also curious if the years could go to the left and right of the bull, with the "Dallas" below "Tornado." Other than that, the jerseys are excellent! Hopefully Chicago doesn't look too similar to that third though. Funny coincidence about the Centennial Hall pattern lol.
  24. Looks really nice! Having the little L shapes in the striping solid rather than outlined is a massive improvement on the IRL alternate design. I am curious how it looks without those new vertical lines you've added between each pair of L shapes, though I can imagine that it's better with them. Good work!
