Just one minor counter point to your Hawaii hasn't sold out a game since 06 point. Aloha Stadium had a capacity of over 50,000, which would make it one of the biggest stadiums in the MWC. Very few lower tier colleges are gonna do that even once in awhile, let alone on a consistent basis.

Their season ticket base is at a 35 year low.

Well… :censored:

(Maybe.)

Between this and the field turf, would I be correct in assuming that NDNation has hired a crack team of assassins to ensure Brian Kelly never coaches again?

Because I can actually say it here, Notre Dame has the worst fanbase in sports.

Come to Knoxville, we'll prove you wrong.

Tennessee fans > Notre Dame fans

Any day of the week.

According to most of the guys on College Gameday, your future National Champions are.... UCLA. The team that most of you said was ranked to high.

Just for context, last year most of the guys on College Gameday picked Alabama to win the national championship and Clemson to win the ACC. Neither Florida State nor Auburn were popular picks to win their respective conferences. Furthermore everyone picked Louisville to win the Bill the Cat Conference, Texas had a plurality of picks to win the Big XII, nobody had Missouri in the SEC championship game, and nobody had Sparty winning the Big Ten (indeed Michigan was a popular pick to win their division).

Quite the track record, yes?

I don't understand why people constantly doubt Maryland... They have a lot of potential. They have a great team. CJ Brown is coming back for his 6th year of eligibility (yes 6 he was injured for 2 years) he has a lot of upside, Stefon Diggs (Maryland's best offensive weapon) and after this year will inherit a star guard commit in EJ Donahue (from my former high school). Granted the defense isn't really up to par with the offense, but they have a chance to compete week in week out with the B1G. Within a few years I think Maryland will be a top B1G team.

This years predictions:

Wins-

James Madison

South Florida

West Virginia

Syracuse

Indiana

Losses-

Ohio State

Wisconsin

Penn State

Michigan State

Toss Ups-

Iowa

Michigan

Rutgers

I'm a Maryland fan, but I'm not going to sit here and tell you that they'll go undefeated because that's simply not the case.

Please note your list of tossups and losses, and reflect again on why people are saying Maryland's going to struggle in the Big Ten.

PS Indiana's not that awful, and Maryland's playing that game on the road.

Actually, I have IU winning against Maryland because that IU offense is good. Now if they only have a defense though. ;)

So the UCF-Penn State game on Saturday in Ireland is threatened to be cancelled...because of a volcano.

http://touch.orlandosentinel.com/#section/-1/article/p2p-81161440/

Why were those two teams playing there anyways? Notre Dame, Boston College I can see. Those two teams? Is Penn State popular there?

Cardinals -- Rams -- Blues -- Tigers -- Liverpool

Check out my music!

Because Penn St. still cannot play in a post-season bowl game for two more seasons.

Another suspect defense for Texas Tech this year. I have no doubt that we can put up numbers on offense but I can see us playing a whole bunch of catch-up when it comes to playing the big boys. Tech has always had a less than stellar history of stopping the run after all.

Charlie Strong acclimating to the Big 12 and Baylor trying to stay on top are going to be fun to watch.
