Yes, they were playing well, but they were playing well against teams that didn't play a lick of defense. Scoring 17 points and giving up 37? It's easy to look good playing against bad defenses. But that's exactly why I thought they would win. College football has a LOT of times where the teams who should probably win just don't. Mixon leaving very early could be seen as poetic justice.While the PI calls looked questionable, Clemson did stop them on that 4th Down which flipped the game.And since it's a Cotton Bowl, the Kilgore Rangeretts make their annual appearance.
