*adds "Drafted WR with a heart condition" to list of 2015 Rams offseason screwups*

Even in the unlikely event the Rams stay, they should stop drafting Missouri players. They all end up as lemons.

And another 49ers retirement.

OT Anthony Davis retiring at age 25.

After a few years of thought, Ive decided it will be best for me to take a year or so away from the NFL. This will be a time for me to allow my Brain and Body a chance to heal. I know many wont understand my decision, thats ok. I hope you too have the courage to live your life how you planned it when day dreaming to yourself growing up. Your Life is Your dream and you have the power to control that dream. Im simply doing whats best for my body as well as my mental health at this time in my life.

He's been thinking about retiring for a few years? So really, he thought about it right after college? And he considers retirement to be "a year or so" away from the game? What is he going to do, take this year off, then unretire and play in 2016?

Strange.

Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half.

Last season was the first time in his career in which he missed games. He missed nine games in total, with four games missed as result of a concussion.

So after a few months of thought...not a few years. Most players don't take a few years to think about retirement. It's usually more advanced and quick.

The fight song for the 2015 San Francisco 49ers: "Another One Bites the Dust" by Queen.

Is a punter really worth $2.8 million this year and $3.3 million next?

Well...it IS Cleveland we're talking about. They've been making questionable decisions since Day 1 of the re-birthed franchise in 1999.

For a team that figures to be marginal (at best) on offense and reliant on defense, the field position battle will be big for the Browns. The punter certainly couldn't hurt, especially if he'll be getting a lot of kicks.

One trades for a $2.5M punter after years of multiple management teams making horrible decisions on the offensive side of the ball.

Andy Lee isn't going to win you two more games in the AFC North via "hidden yardage".

What is the Niners' game plan right now? Are they a have or a have not, or are they one pretending to be the other??

The Niners' game plan is that the team is going to be up for sale soon if it is not already. The roster purge is part of the prep work.
