It's good to see the Padres using brown. And I love that Pirates cap!

The Yankees' use of the wordmark doesn't look good at all.  That thin script is not appropriate for a jersey.  But I don't mind that cap.

For me the best-looking uniform and cap combo is the Astros.  The A's set looks good; but it's a missed opportunity to use the "A's" logo on the front of the jersey.

Will these jerseys not have numbers on the front?  If not, then the Mets' jersey will look pretty awkward.

I prefer last year's hats compared to this year's, but than again ... I hate these Players Weekend jerseys.

A lot of the hats are misses and a lot of the jerseys are hits. The worst thing is a lot of the jerseys are just copy and paste jobs.

I think that’s kinda the point...much like some kids’ league jerseys are plucked from the Eastbay catalog (is that still around?)

The jerseys are decent enough, but the hats barely feature any contrast. Pittsburgh, Oakland, San Diego, and Philadelphia are the best of the bunch.

That Mariners uniform:

The hat has a barely-visible logo, the blue and teal shades have limited contrast, and the straight wordmark doesn’t belong on a jersey. It’s a nasty mess.

Definitely case by case. A lot of the hats are much better, by virtue of using colors that fit the team and match the jersey. (Last year’s neon-light-blue B on a Red Sox cap stood out as particularly egregious to me.) But there are also some weird ones, like the mentioned Mariners, and is the Tigers shirt base black??

also would really prefer if teams used a single layer version of their usual number font, rather than generic block.

This reminds me of watching the Little League World Series regionals and seeing how many teams have a version of the Tequila sunrise jerseys this year.

The Twins jerseys are awesome. The hat, not so much

Last year’s Twins hat was AMAZING, and easily the best of the bunch.

This year’s sucks.

By the way, I know "What are the Padres even doing" is evergreen content, but this time... seriously? Why the trucker hat stripes? Why is the jersey gray and yellow with no blue or brown at all?

The Padres sold a shirt and hat with the striping on it several years ago.  I think they advertised it as a one-off "military-style" thing.  I have the shirt.  They incorporate so many different elements that it's hard to keep up.

Go Astros!

Go Texans!

Go Rockets!

Go Javelinas!
