Yeah, it’s kind of crazy, but if you read the pinned tweet, it sounds like the whole project is a labor of love between a father and his son, which I can definitely appreciate.

The placket trim is odd since it's on both seams and not just the outer.

 

The wordmark is way too far to the viewer's left - PION seems a lot wider than ERS (with the aforementioned awkward E in the middle.)

I also remember being perplexed that they chose Omaha to represent their "O" team rather than Oakland or even Orlando.

That's a very old-school look.

Not sure it works with all of these, but I actually wouldn't mind seeing a team bring it back, especially if they had a simple wordmark.
