Rushmore-esque figure he's portrayed as" to me. I think having Tom getting his 7th ring has spoiled the general consensus of what a great player looks like; there's plenty of great players in the Hall of Fame that don't even have one ring. Sure, the goal of athletes is to win championships, but to diminish Rodgers from being a face of the league while he's the reigning MVP and playing his best football just because he has one ring is ridiculous. My point was more that he isn't bigger than the franchise and doesn't have the right to run the team and blame them for any failings in a way that someone like Brady can. He's been built up by some to be the "best QB in the league" and by a few as even the GOAT, and I feel at times is put on a pedestal that has people thinking that he is a multi-time champion, when the reality is that he hasn't earned it. BBTV
Carson Wentz can beer bong my diarrhea. Now his stupid, fragile, weak, intellectually-deficient ass is killing the Eagles by injuring his stupid foot and potentially missing significant time. Guess he didn't pray hard enough before practice. Sure, but my point is that he's a bit more than just an employee that should shut up and play football. What Aaron Rodgers is saying is that he just wants his input in personnel decisions and he wants more respect given to high character veterans that were good for the locker room. Gutekunst just knows the stats and production of a player while Rodgers knows the type of human they are, and I think in the current analytical state of sports, we forget about the human side. So, I think what Rodgers wants to achieve with the football team and city that he clearly loves is much bigger that an egotistical power grab, and I hope the front office and Rodgers can come to a long-term agreement using a high football-IQ guy as a scouting resource. Crabcake
Ravens sign Justin Houston to a 1 year deal worth up to $4 million. Absolute steal. Have no idea how EDC pulls this stuff off. The Chiefs obviously present a massively-sized roadblock in the Ravens’ way of trying to win a Super Bowl (and the Bills are no slouches either), but this is a move that I think at least keeps pace with the big guns. Our glaring weakness was pass rush, and bringing in a veteran guy to help with that is just what the doctor ordered. Even if he’s only a 3rd down specialist, Wink usually can dial up some crazy blitz to get to the QB on early downs.

Red Comet
The worst Lamar Jackson did was have to take the Browns to the Super Bowl in Cleveland. The issue is rather he has to beat Patrick Mahomes to get to the Super Bowl and he has yet to do that. Hell, maybe getting past Josh Allen is asking too much. McNabb at least got the Eagles there. Anyway, he is a moron, and I'll make a board bet anyone that he will never win a SB as a starting QB with Baltimore. I'll go a calendar year with any avatar and member title (within forum rules) that anyone who takes up this bet wants me to use. If/when he's either demoted or moved to another team, then I win and get to choose the avatar and title of whoever is in on it. The Packers are always so far up their own asses on how they do things as an organization (there’s a few of the older organizations in sports that are like this, to be fair) and they have the same amount of Super Bowl titles in my lifetime as my dumpster fire ass team. Packers' last 25 years: 255-143-2, 18 playoff berths, 13 division championships, 2 Super Bowls Buccaneers' last 25: 184-216, 8 playoff berths, 4 division championships, 2 Super Bowls I know everyone is always mad at the Packers for refusing to let Aaron Rodgers run the organization from his kitchen table, but their crap works. Maybe a big part of that is getting to beat up on the Bears every year, but they've given Rodgers more than enough whacks at the pinata over his career. If they've basically been an 11-win division champ every year of his career, I don't think they've failed him relative to the ways other teams have failed their talent. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫

For the record, we also have beaten up the Lions. This Packer fan is NOT mad at the team for failing to include the QB is personnel decisions. Jake Kumerow, supposedly the second best WR on the team when he was released, has failed to demonstrate his talent to anyone other than Rodgers. It's where I sit. BBTV
Carson Wentz out up to 3 months, so Eagles get screwed out of a 1st round pick. And it’s apparently an old injury - how does that not show up on any examinations?
