Yea, I think this signifies that the “T” will remain white.

 

As for the logo itself, I don’t mind it, but I think I like the current/outgoing logo better. I do like how the curves of the bar of the “T” are parallel with the “C” though. 
 

I’ll wait & see until it’s released officially.

I think it’s not necessarily that the C looks squashed, as it looks nearly identical to the old version to me, but rather, that the T looks a bit too tall, as there’s too much space between it and the top of the C.

Actually, there's less space between the top of the C and the place where the top bar and stem of the T meet than there is from the bottom of the C to the bottom of the T. At least according to this image.

 

I actually quite like it. The T and C fit each other much better.

It feels like it belongs on a vintage flannel-type hat. I definitely don’t hate it, but it doesn’t have the same weight as the current mark. The serifs being rounded and cleaned up make it feel much lighter, and not in a good way. But I’m happy that it essentially looks the same, and likely means that their going with a 60’s look for the new set.

Looks like the T has been thickened and the C definitely is squashed. I rather like the more solid T, and how the crossbar follows the curve of the C.  I think this will help with the legibility issues some people have brought up before from long range. Cautiously optimistic for the rest of the set.

I'm pleased to see the cap logo changes are subtle. I'll admit, until I saw them side by side, the only real difference I could detect were the more muted serifs on the T. 

 

Assuming this is the new primary cap, this could end up being one of those changes where a majority of the fanbase won't even know the difference.

Just like in 2010 after the move to Target Field.

 

Not many people noticed the tweaks to the Twins uniform script. 

 

Ironically the S stood out the most as I always thought the serifs on the S looked more like the serifs in the T from the hat.

Looking at them side-by-side, it looks like the print version of it, whenever we see it, will probably look very similar to the cap version. Ever since 1961, the Print/Jersey version of the TC logo has always been thicker than the cap version. With how things have progressed in the past sixty-two years, it seems like there won't be much changed. For comparison, here's the 2D print version of the outgoing logo, which has remained the same since 1961.

Not sure if I fully like the execution, but I love that it looks like they're going back to a 60s aesthetic. I think this leak could also be somewhat of a confirmation that they're going to the updated script they've been using on social media

They did say they wanted a timeless look. Script, this new TC logo, and some consistent uniforms will make me a happy man.

I feel like the Twins make changes to their set just about every decade, but they’re always relatively subtle. I’m assuming this’ll be similar, from what I’m seeing so far. Better than them making even bigger changes, which I was a bit worried about.

One thing I do with the Twins would tweak is to adopt the print version of the C on their hats. I would be the reverse of me also wanting  the Blackhawks adopt their jersey shoulder patch as the print version of the tomahawk-C logo.

I like the little serifs on the current/old "T" and I find this logo jarring (whereas most fans won't even notice). That said, a bit more space between the two letters probably makes sense. Generally, I find this an unnecessary slight downgrade but I admit I may simply get used to it. 

 

That said, it gives me hope that the uniforms won't get too crazy/modern. But I doubt they'll keep the block font (which I prefer).

 

I've seen it suggested that the "T" might not quite be white...interesting thought about the possibility of off-white uniforms?

Feels like they went past “cleaned up” to “simplified” in a way I don’t love; there was an opportunity to keep the T serifs but play more nicely with the C curve that I think they missed. But it’s not bad. Better this than anything more drastic, or letting nostalgia blindness take over with that dumb M again.

My suspicion is that the T looks off-white is because this is an edited version of New Era's Southwest-inspired caps. But that's just a guess.

My guess is due to the popularity of the previous 1960's cream throwback, that the T on the hat will be white like it's always been, while the home uniforms will be cream with pinstripes like the throwbacks were

This is the same guy who discovered the leaked logo. Claims that pinstripes are back, and that someone with a source DM'd him. Please take this with a MASSIVE GRAIN OF SALT. Supposedly there will be pinstripes on the Grey uniforms again too. I'm not a huge fan of Pinstripes on Grey uniforms, they look much better on White/Cream.
