Speak for yourself. I personally LOVE the white-panel caps for the Os  and Twins (I own/have owned one of each)...and the yellow-front panel caps the Brewers use.

 

Speaking of the Brewers, probably the most random post of the day, but I found myself watching a highlight roll of the Brewers' season thus far, and I feel pretty well confident in saying that, top to bottom and CCs notwithstanding (and even those aren't horrible), the Brewers have one of the top identities in MLB.

 

Now just don't mess it up...

Fanatics has plans to do a more significant overhaul of the NHL jerseys in a couple of years, so we aren't quite out of the woods yet. Who knows what sort of "innovations" they'll come up with before then.

The ASG jerseys could have done without the "league" and been just fine. That is the kind of design that works as a shirt, NOT a jersey.

I like the idea, but not the execution. The "American League" on the front feels like a throwback to like the 1900s-1910s, but the rest of it is very meh

I'd personally make it the primary home hat, but I can understand people liking the classic navy. It should at least be an occasional option, though.

 

(For Twins fans not local to the Twin Cities, or really anyone who would want that hat, the team store will ship it to you if you call them, which is what I had to do. I only knew they were a thing because I saw them on a broadcast. Now that they're already made, we just need the players to wear them!)

I feel like they're trying to copy the Kansas City Monarchs jerseys and mashing them up into one jersey. I actually like these, but not the idea I'd be spending $400 for them.

such a great all star patch, and it will never be worn on a jersey, like they were in the past.

 

On the jersey here it's without color, and the rangers could not wear it since they have an ad patch on the sleeve.  

 

Remember when teams celebrated being the host of the all star game by wearing a patch all season long?

 

What's the point  for a designer to make a great all star game logo/patch, when the teams can't wear them anymore?

Same goes for World Series sleeve patches.......  they are gone!

Replaced by a sticker on the front of the jersey.

Yikes. Those are terrible. They look like the Red Sox and Miami Heat Vice uniforms had a one night stand and this is the scandalous love child they made.

I actually prefer having standardized All-Star uniforms to a visual cacaphony of every team's jerseys, but the designs themselves are making that argument harder every year. I think last year's uniforms were pretty solid, but the others have been trash. The BP jerseys from previous years were usually decent. I don't know why they couldn't have just kept the same design philosophy for the in-game uniforms instead of whatever this is.

If this was merely a BP jersey, it would suck...but it would suck in a way most of us would never notice. As a game jersey (and we all know / fear it's going to be paired with matching pants) it's an abomination. When you're doing drop shadows in the same color as the jersey, you've clawed through the bottom of the barrel and are digging in the dirt underneath it. Epic fail.

Given that this game is being played in Texas, why do these "jerseys" look like they were inspired by the Diamondbacks' Cash Grab Connect set and the Marlins black alternate jersey? 
"You made the MLB All-Star team...and your reward is to play an extra game in these sartorial abominations! Congrats, guys!"
(Just to break trend, I will note that I don't hate the contrasting sleeves and "sun collar". There,Nike designers, I've written something nice about your work. Now...do better work!)

I was (am)  writing for myself. Just like everyone else here. Now, just to surprise you a bit, I'm going to agree with you on the Brewers' yellow front panel cap. I like that one. I also really liked the Orioles orange front panel BP cap. I'd make that the home cap in a heartbeat. YMMV. 
(And I never wrote the Twins' design was bad, just that IMO the white panel caps have a short shelf life. Again, YMMV.)
