dgnmrwrw
After seeing them in the DC BP jerseys yesterday, I worked up this quick concept. Mostly, I dropped the W completely and put the DC on the roads. Sorry for the lack of Nats numerals; I don't have those yet. C+C welcome. luisart47
While they look good and I understand why you took away the "W", the team name is "Washington Nationals" not "Distric of Columbia Nationals", so I understand the DC-logo as a sleeve patch or alternate logo, but in the cap as a main logo????Imagine a game between:The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheimvs. The District of Columbia Nationals
BBTV
Pretty much what I said (and illustrated) in the other thread.Just makes the "w" look even more out of place. The DC does make a sweet breast logo, but those bp jerseys (like most team's) aren't game material. The DC would look great on the road uniform, like how the 80's Giants and Padres had "Giants" (or "Padres") on their home uni, and SF or SD on the road.Like this:Only I'd probably add piping instead of just the neck trim. Actually, what might work for the Nats numbering would be the Cowboys Throwback font in that NFL package eriqjaffe put together...it seems pretty similar to me FANTASY TEAMSHousatonic U. asmargolis
Personally, I would go for one hat to be used on the home and on the road. Perhaps like your road hat with a red bill. Also, I would put the "DC" logo on the road jerseys but with red lettering rather than blue. All in all, I like the tweaking you have done. TBGKon
id rather see the "DC" logo on the homes, so they look a bit less like the Angels
dgnmrwrw
OK, here's the next try. I added the blue piping of the alternate throughout the set to make them more similar and to make the homes look less like the Angels. (Also to make the roads less like yours, BringBackTtheVet) Also threw the script W onto the alternate and BP caps. Still can't decide whether to use the DC or the W. I know the W makes since because it's the name of the city, but it just doesn't work visually. Any thoughts? BBTV
(Also to make the roads less like yours, BringBackTtheVet) Oh, I'm not bothered. It is tough to get bothered about similiarities between concepts based on existing teams / logos. They're all going to look pretty much the same. The piping is a good idea, I was going to add it in there except I didn't feel like putting more than 10 minutes into mine. bulldogbarks55
Don't you mean- "In tonight's interleague play the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim visit the District of Columbia Nationals of Washington."Anybody notice the graphics that ESPN, FOX, etc. use to indicate the Halos? "LAA," which is perfect for a team from La-La Land. Ciao, baby, let's do lunch.
appleclock
The "Established 1905" logo has got to go, though. They aint foolin anybody with it.
jWilson4mvp
The biggest thing the Nats need is the Capitol Dome. In your secondary logo, it fits perfectly in above WASHINGTON. Rah rah rah.

kansascityjayhawk4
i think that the whole "w" thing isn't working out. For one it doesn't match the jersey font. Two. The Nats took on a whole new personality by not going by the Senators, and i think it was wrong to use the old Sentors logo. Instead of having a red alternate jersey, they could have a grey vest with navy blue sleeves underneath. I would drop the DC on the road jerseys, because having the title on one side of the breast looks off-centered and too much like a BP jersey. K.C. southpawstu19
i think the w needs to be there for historical/hometown reasons. the problems is actualy the fact that the script w and the nationals/washington on the jerseys do not match at all. mabye use a script font for the name on the jerseys. the dc logo is great, and definitly should be used for an alternate, a vest perhaps. lastly i would also like to see more gold used in their uniform. i think that would be a great, innovative thing to do; if it could be done. totc
It is as long as everyone agrees to wear it. The Orioles and Phillies have used BP jerseys as "streak-breakers." I think that was also the case this past week with the Nationals.

I don't like how their home jersey says Nationals twice. Also, the piping on the road is nice, but may look better with thin red trim on the sides (like reverse Braves piping.)
