officeglenn
It's too bad that all he will be remembered for in Philadelphia is running his mouth and one spectacular, if inconsequential (in the grand scheme of things) catch on Monday Night Football against the Cowboys. BBTV
Its about timeΒ I had a feeling Philly fans wouldn't miss him all that much.Maybe he can thank his hands for him getting cut. Well, as a fan and employee of the Eagles, I think this is a real shame. I know he had to go, but I think that he was very misunderstood and could have a very good (not great) career somewhere else. People in this town just don't get his sense of humor or swagger, and it sucks because he was very entertaining and had several clutch 1st down catches (besides 4th and 26.)And he's really a good guy off the field.Good luck, Freddie. Seadragon76
I can only guess they were tired of him running his yap and they dumped him.Smart move, know all they need to do is dump the 'other' whiney female dog (T.O.) and they are set... to be pooped on by the Seahawks! DEAD!
One can only imagine how the GM told that he has been released:"FredEx, I'm sorry, but we have to ship you out" I saw, I came, I left.

Plaid Paint
I feel sorry for the team that's stupid enough to sign him/pick him up.A classic example of a punk who never came anywhere close to backing up his trash talk, and then tried to lay the blame off on others.Classy?I think not. BBTV
thanks for leaving, freddie Yeah, we're much better off with Todd Pinkston.Freddie was one of the nicer more accomodating people on the team (not that other than TO there are a lot of bad guys on the Eagles.) I see a silver & black uni in his future.Granted, Al Davis is well known for taking on "problem" players and rejects etc, including those who talk a bunch of junk, but only if those players including the junk talkers, actually perform well and back up their junk talk on the playing field.Mitchell has never fit into that category and he never will. WSU151
thanks for leaving, freddie Yeah, we're much better off with Todd Pinkston.Freddie was one of the nicer more accomodating people on the team (not that other than TO there are a lot of bad guys on the Eagles.) Freddie may be a nice guy, BBTV, and he may have a good sense of humor...but seriously, he's a terrible NFL receiver. 63 games, 90 catches in his career. Less than 1.5 catches per game? You and I could do that. The Eagles aren't missing anything without him. Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half.
