lopernv
Colts lost to the Chargers. I was kinda hoping for this, or else the '72 record would never be the same.
OMMF
What a game. Thank you San Diego. That should be a pic of the winning points. If not, let me know.

Seadragon76
Thank you, San Diego, for giving Seattle the game plan for next week's Super Bowl preview against the Colts.Oh, and OMMF: That isn't the pic of the winning points, but since she's hot, I'll let it slide. Cujo
I hate the '72 Dolphins, namely Mercury Morris. That guy is an ass. I hope somebody goes 19-0 someday before they all die off just to see them get all butthurt, then complain on how their 72 team is still better, and show no class towards the team that does run the table. infrared41
The Colts lose and here come The Patriots....The more things change...I've said it before and I'll say it again, until New England is officially out of the playoffs I think they are still the team to beat. It's as simple as Montana and Marino. Marino put up the huge numbers but Montana was always winning when it mattered most. Again the more things change...now it's Peyton Manning and Tom Brady. Two predictions.1. Eli gets to the Super Bowl before Peyton does.2. New England is the team that makes history this season. 3 straight and counting. Anyone remember when Minnesota went 15-1 and lost to Atlanta? The more things change...Finally, you have one game you have to win. Who do you like better for your coach Belichick or Dungy? I think Dungy is great. I love him as a coach but when the money is on the line give me Bill Belichick. Now pick your QB. Manning of Brady? Again as great as Manning is, I am still taking Brady when the money is on the line.Yup history will be made this season...by the New England Patriots.I am not going ESPN here and jumping on the Pats bandwagon just because they won yesterday. I posted the same basic idea a few weeks ago.Just a few random thoughts. Feel free to tell me how wrong I am.
the admiral
Thank you, San Diego, for giving Seattle the game plan for next week's Super Bowl preview against the Colts. "Beat up on Manning and keep the offense of the field" isn't exactly a groundbreaking game plan. What the hell do you think the last 13 opponents were trying to do? What the hell do you think the last 13 opponents were trying to do? Well, the other 13 teams didn't execute that plan to perfection like San Diego did today. Now, comes the big question: With their first loss, does Dungy sit the starters next week at Seattle and on New Year's Day against Arizona? GeorgesL
That was pretty disappointing. No matter, I still like the Colts to win the Super Bowl, not because I'm sick and tired of hearing about the '72 Dolphins, but because I'm sick and tired of hearing about how great Tom Brady and the Patsies are. Mac the Knife
Colts lost to the Chargers. I was kinda hoping for this, or else the '72 record would never be the same. Except that '72 isn't the only time a team went unbeaten & untied for a season.Do some digging and you'll appreciate, the Cleveland Browns of 1948. NJTank
The Cleveland Browns played in the All-American Football Conference in 1948 not the NFL. Thats like pointing to a great record in the ABA
MisterE
Oh well. I knew the end would be coming for the Colts anyway. As for the 72 Dolphins, drink up.
StarrDogg
The Colts O-Line looked a little suspect. Manning got slammed all day it seemed.I still think the Colts and Seahawks will be defeated in the playoffs before the Super Bowl.
IceCap
hahahaha! not only did we need this win to stay alive in the playoff hunt, but ending the colts undefeated season makes it that much sweeter
PeytonManningRocks
Congrats to San Diego, you guys certainly earned this victory....though if we play like we did today, I don't think we could have beaten the Texans.
