CaolinaJoe
My prediction is that next year, #5 will be a Baltimore Raven. God NO! CaolinaJoe
it never seemed like he could throw all that well and he wasn't really that fast, especially if he couldn't run through opposing defenses. You just summed up Mike's career also. "It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of thepress. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom ofspeech. rmackman
I think since he's Michael's brother he thinks he can do anything. He thought the name Vick meant he was the king of Virginia Tech, and he learned that's not the case. Hopefully this will humble him. "Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be eaten. Every morning in Africa, a lion wakes up. It knows it must outrun the slowest gazelle or it will starve. It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle. When the sun comes up, you'd better be running." - Unknown |Β Β Check out my articles on jerseys at Bacon SportsΒ
brinkeguthrie
Punk. I was gonna say 'thug,' but 'punk' works, too. Put him in a dream backfield of Clarett and Lawrence Phillips.

gashouser27
good for virginia tech they gave him enough chancesif he gets drafted it will be on the second day like clarett..i don't see him in the cfl, maybe in the real life version of "the longest yard" with clarett and phillips
Tentomushi5150
He said it himself, he needed another year to polish up, but somebody will pick him up in the draft. If his last name was anything other than Vick, probably not, but some team lacking in the qb department will pick him up late. He's got potential, and some team will hope to catch him at a heavily discounted price. If he's even a shade of his brother on the field, he'll stick around. Every team needs a 3rd string quarterback.

Discrim
you really think no one will take him?Β someone was dumb enough to waste a first-rounder on Lawrence Phillips.Β Lil' Vick will be drafted, you know it and I know it. Well that might scare teams away there are always teams who'll sign bad news players without a second thought, and tehre always will be. just ask Texas, TCU, Oklahoma, the Giants, Colts, Lions and Saints...about a fella named Joe Don LooneyI will give NFL suits credit for one thing: Rich Kotite's not coaching. Sterling84
Someone will absolutely draft him. On Day 2 probably, but he'll be in an NFL training camp as a #3 or battling for a #2. The Official Cheese-Filled Snack of NASCAR

Cujo
Supposedly Marcus Vick has turned himself into police after being wanted for waving a gun around last night. officeglenn
I think this part of the story sums up his whole attitude: ... As school officials and coaches were trying to decide on his punishment, it was discovered Friday that he had been pulled over in Hampton for speeding and driving on a suspended license on Dec. 17.That was the final straw from Virginia Tech. University president Charles Steger announced late Friday afternoon that Vick had been permanently dismissed from the football team. That night, Vick was spotted in a Virginia Beach restaurant and told The Virginian-Pilot: ?It?s not a big deal. I?ll just move on the next level, baby.?
