rmackman
Well hopefully if the players hate it then they'll just do what the NBA did with the new ball. It's not like decisions aren't reversable. "Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be eaten. Every morning in Africa, a lion wakes up. It knows it must outrun the slowest gazelle or it will starve. It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle. When the sun comes up, you'd better be running." - Unknown | Check out my articles on jerseys at Bacon Sports

agentrygraphics
What really bugs me from a Fan standpoint, is the fact that they will no longer sell quality "replica" jerseys. Next year's replica jerseys will apparently be nothing better than something I could make with a jersey, iron-on kit, and a copy of Illustrator at my apartment. I'll have to shell out even more $$$ to get authentic jerseys, in all their form-fitting...beer gut exposing glory.I thought the NHL was trying to win back its fans...not push them away again? The Authentics, the Replicas, and the lower-tier cheaper replicas like you're mentioning. It was worded quite badly, but I think they're saying they want to offer a cheaper replica for fans who still can't afford the already pretty expensive replicas.I may be wrong though. BadSeed84
So basically, if your thinking of buting a nhl jersey (Authentioc or replica, especially replica) get it now (or by the end of the season)Hell, it also says there wont be any white replica's! logodawg
Raise your hand if you think this whole uni deal with the NHL is another "New Coke" fiasco waiting to happen.I really don't see how there any chance in hell that the new unis will fly in Detroit since the last time they changed something on the Wings sweaters was those funky numbers that lasted all of what, one season? And that was 20 years ago. I think the only other change before that was centering the whole logo instead of centering the wheel itself and that was some 35 years ago?I can also easily see these going down in flames in Montreal and Boston easily. I once had a car but I crashed it. I once had a guitar but I smashed it. I once, wait where am I going with this?

A game I truly loved over any other. Sure, jerseys don't make they game, and that's cool, I could live with bad jerseys. But the game itself is being raped. This other little stuff just adds to it. tommytimp
I know it's just one article dealing with one test market, but how could CCM/Reebok look at this kind of press and not make wholesale changes?
