I'd love to know hte costs of "re-tooling" the graphics ability for making the cans. That seems to me that it would be pretty costly. Won't it also draw attention to slow moving product in vending machines (i.e., look at this can -- it's soooo last month)?

I'm not the target demo, so it doesn't really hit home with me, one way or the other.

i'm sure the only real extra cost would be for the design itself, with the amount of cans printed, i'm sure they are using some sort of plateless, digital direct to press technology. really, the only change in the printing would be sending a new file and making sure the right ink colors are mixed.

Uh yeah, im officially done buying Pepsi. Coke destroys Pepsi anyway. If I busted open a 12 pack of Pepsi and found all those little stupid wanna be ghetto ass gangster rims on my cans id probably be just compelled enough to try to return it (Is that even possible? )

I prefered the plain blue ones with a pepsi logo on. clean and simple, no trying for messages and :censored:e like that. how they think these cans look good is beyone me

Heh, reminds me that a couple weeks ago I went back to my old church and poked around the old upstairs youth room we used to have...we have a refrigerator in one of the "closets" and I opened it, and way at the back was one of the white Pepsi cans...same design as now, except white. 1998 status.
