habsfan1
Yankees or Red Sox. I'm surprised yet I'm not, cause it's normal he wants to add a ring to his resumé.
KevinMcD
Yankees, no doubt. Steinbrunner will put up ~15M to get the All time HR leader on his team. And they may need a power bat if A-Rod leaves.
CS85
Bonds will be wearing pinstripes before the Series is over. Quote "You are nothing more than a small cancer on this message board. cappital92
He's going to the O's. Angelos spent on Belle and Sosa before, so it's not impossible. But Bonds may go to the Mets if a ring's his top priority, by far. http://www.wizardsxtra.com Is it the shoes?

George said, "Thanks, but no thanks."Guess George had some taste and class after all.

And they may need a power bat if A-Rod leaves.Yankees had ample opportunity to pick him up last offseason, and with the substantial carrot of being around for his eventual home-run king coronation. They didn't then, why in the heck would they bother now?
FiddySicks
If he doesn't just retire he'll finish off in Oakland. He'll be willing to take a pay cut in order to stay in the Bay Area. Bonds is a creature of habit and I doubt he'd be willing to go through the full inconveniance of uprooting for one, at best two, short seasons. Thats just the feeling I get though. hormone
would the pirates be interested in him? Maybe the rangers can sign him. Of course the Pirates are interested in him...but they won't sign him for another 10 years. How long until we see a mock up of a Yankee or Red Sox home jersey with just a giant asterick on the back making fun of whichever team gets him? FiddySicks
Wonder now if SF will make a run at A-Rod if he does in fact opt out? That has been my question for awhile now. I would think any good GM would push as hard as possible to sign A Rod, but this is Sabian were talkin about..... mania
Apparently the Rangers were the "mystery team" Bonds had an offer from last season. As a Rangers fan, I would not like to see him wearing red, white, and blue next season.I'd rather be known for mediocrity(as we seem forever destined to be) than be known for that.
