Cujo
Marlins 6, Mets 1 - FinalBrewers 5, Cubs 1 - 8thWell people, it looks like Milwaukee is now in the driver's seat heading into the final two days of the season, as they should go up by one game on the Mets if everything holds. I guess that's what happens when you can't come close to beating teams you're supposed to beat. (I'm talking to you New York!)
Island_Style
If you want a team to end the Mets playoff hopes, call the Marlins.
NJTank
No thats not the problem, the problem was 18 blown saves, 6 games lost at home with 4 run leads. If the Mets had a pen that did not uterly suck they would have been in easily. I want every one gone, and if Aaron Heilman is a Met next year I will be very pissed. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
FiddySicks
Ugggh, and it looks like the Rays may just have to wait another day to clinch the East (If they can pull it off). The game is in rain delay in Boston in the 5th right now. How much of the game has to be complete to call it? rams80
Well, the Twins are seemingly trying to undo everything they accomplished over the last three days, but Cleveland seems helping out with the destruction of the confidence of the White Sox.And I was so hoping for a "L" Series. If any baseball event could kick off Armageddon...that would be it. If the Red Sox win the division I'm going to have to hear that the Red Sox "pay off the umpires" for the foreseeable future.

The game is in rain delay in Boston in the 5th right now. How much of the game has to be complete to call it?Are you a Rays fan now? I wouldn't blame you, considering your teams. They need to complete 5 innings, ironically we pulled Daisuke for David "Spot start" Pauley because apparently no one on the team cares about winning the division at this point. So no conspiracy theories please. I really haven't been able to bring myself to watch thus far, it lowers my self-esteem. That's how badly they have played, and not given a .you know someone brought this up on SoSH, would you rather play the Angels in a 5 game series or a 7 game series? I'd rather play them in a 5 game series anyway, so assuming we lose the division it's not so bad.Wow the Mets suck. That's terrible.(Go Brewers!)Edit: Johan starting tomorrow. That's terrible.Hey now, no knock on your Sox, but pretty much everyone outside of New England wants the Rays to grab the division, if for nothing more than to have something different. The Rays are an awesome story and for them to grab the East would be great for the sheer ridiculousness of it all. That and a Sox Angels first round would be great, you as a Boston fan I'm sure know the history.
