goalieboy82
Ha. Anyway, what's the situation with the Wild Card? If the Mets win and the Brewers lose, the Mets win the Wild Card and if the Brewers win and the Mets lose, the Brewers win the Wild Card. What if BOTH teams lose, as is the case right now?there would be a playoff game tomorrow for the wild card (sometime around 7pm or 8pm). so long and thanks for all the fish. Seadragon76
Somewhere in Jersey, Tank is doing some sort of happy dance and is making a petition to rename 'God' to 'Carlos Beltran' after that homer.Watch, though. I bet later on the bullpen chokes and all of New York will want to hurt them.

jkrdevil
Helms homers for Florida in NY right after Sabathia pitches a 1-2-3 8th inning in Milwaukee. The Mets are inching towards life support.BTW, Sabathia hit for himself to lead off the 8th so he is going the full 9 and maybe more today. jkrdevil
Another update:White Sox game is final they win 5-1. Minnesota is leading 4-0 in the 8th. It looks like the White Sox-Tigers make up game will happen tomorrow and if the White Sox win that then there would be a 1 game playoff Tuesday. DEAD!
Perhaps the Mets should demand the MLB schedule makers to not have them play the Marlins in the final series of the season. I saw, I came, I left.
BBTV
At least the Mutts season ends with them wearing their best uniform combo. That is absolutely insane. It's called sarcasm, as Howard as a legitimate shot at winning NL MVP.Well if he really has a legitimate shot, that's insane. Uh oh... 1 more out! , I just got a 1986 flashback even though I wasn't alive...

jkrdevil
That's the ball game. Mets lose 4-2. I find that is an appropriate ending to Shea Stadium. Now time for the closing ceremonies, I wonder if they are going to bring out the current team or not?.
