FiddySicks
Barry Zito FINALLY won a game. And on top of that he looked better tonight than he has in a LONG time. Hopefully this is a sign of a resurgence for Zito. Big win for San Fran, and the A's are up 7-2 on the Red Sox. Pretty pleasant night for Bay Area baseball, if I do say so myself On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) NJTank
First Manager Fired Willie Randolph If there is a god it will be with in 72 hoursThe Mets are just quitting and folding and I cant stand to see him say turn the page much longer, and taking shots at fans and calling us racists for booing him. Its getting real ugly and even Keith Hernandez is taking veiled shots at him. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
DG_YouKnowWhatThatMeans
I think that in the prediction thread, I said the Mariners would be any good. Boy was I wrong about that. I had a lot of fun going to M's games last summer, but I definitely stopped going as they started losing. I don't want to be a fair-weather fan, but that's exactly what I am. Baseball games are more fun when the team is winning. FiddySicks
Speaking of the streaking A's, they just swept the Boston Red Sox For as much trash as I talked about this team when they traded Swisher and Haren, I am absolutely loving this team. And while I would still like to see a spark plug like Swisher, it's fine that he's not there because the current roster just seems to have such great chemistry. They're gonna be an amazing team for a long time to come with this young roster, but I don't think anyone expected them to come around so darn fast. Now only if the Angels would drop a few. Still though, I'd rather have a position player who puts up Hamilton's kind of numbers than a pitcher who only tosses once a week. Island_Style
These next couple of weeks will gauge how good the Marlins are. Tonight they will either lose or win the series against the Mets. Then they play @ Philly in three then @ Atlanta in four. By June 6th the Marlind could be anywhere from comfortly in first to comfortly in fourth.
