Everything else you see today is post-renovation. The new park looks beautiful (and it better for a $1.2 billion price tag! ).Tiger Stadium was left to rot for 9 years after the Tigers moved to Comerica Park. Same thing happened with Olympia Stadium after the Wings left in 1979. I understand the desire to try and preserve places like this, but what are you going to do with it that would make sense?
