jimsimo
Although I don't generally like anything associated with UK, I think these are a definite upgrade - too bad they cannot ditch the little side stripes.
walkdesign
BEAUTIFUL! Although does this mean Buffalo has to change now? tBBP
That's the Oregon State "sports bra" cut design. Only without the colored bra.(And this only goes to further point out the remark I made in the thread about Syracuse's new uniforms.)I don't get the cut-off double stripe in the side panel of these jerseys--that piece could have been left out. but this look, to me, is an upgrade, if only slightly, over the Andre' Woodson radial sunburst-looking sets they wore last year. *Disclaimer: I am not an authoritative expert on stuff...I just do a lot of reading and research and keep in close connect with a bunch of people who are authoritative experts on stuff. || dribbble || Behance ||
TFoA
Idk, I liked the old uniforms better. They looked like basketball uniforms over pads, and seeing as how UK's a basketball school, I thought it was a perfect fit. These are too plain. It's like teams are learning from their piping stupidity (save for VT and Miami, which I liked), and now they're getting silly with the plainness. They could've EASILY put sleeve numbers there. Linus
I agree with TFoA...seems like most teams are taking the plain route. These do nothing for me, way to plain. beLEAF
AsM29
It looks to me like the jersey cut is very similar to the Nike Swift hockey jerseys. It even appears that some of the materials are the same. Does anyone else agree?
ferrousoxide66
Without those sidestripes, they'd look like one-piece unitards. Ugh.
Billy B
What's with all these teams without TV numbers? The jerseys, while plain are an upgrade. It's just like teams went way overboard with the piping the last few years and now they are overcompensating with uniforms that are too plain. McCall
The last design looked alright with the monochrome look. These, however, need white pants with the blue jerseys... badly. I like the simple look, but get the white pants. https://dribbble.com/MakaioCall

HelluvaDesigner
I loved Kentucky's all blue uniforms before. These are ok. And I don't get the cut-off stripes on the side, either. I'm a Ramblin' Wreck from Georgia Tech and a helluva... designeer?

omnibus
I HATED the old uniforms. These are a 100% upgrade from the pajama jammy-jam disaster the last few years. Look for the white pants with blue jerseys. According to Brooks, when he went to Oregon to rededicate the field in his name he came back saying he wanted to be able to mix and match the uni (ala the Ducks just not as crazy), so the blue/blue/white and blue/white/blue will be back...thank the good lord. How do the football gods torment me by giving my cats the best two years of football in my life...and make it look ugly. Par for the Kentucky Football course. Now can I just get my helmet back????white/blue/whitewhite/white/bluewhite/blue/blue for special gamesa boy can dream...
dfwabel
Downgrade as the stripe pattern does not go all the way down from the armpit. They really need white pants. BTW, #56 needs lotion (too ashy if you aren't wearing socks).
Geoff
Maybe it's the lighting but UK's new set looks like it is a lighter blue than the previous set. Athletic Director: KTU Blue Grassers Football
mydogisgomez
At first glance, I thought the side panel stripes were the "UK" logo because of how the fabric is stretched in the photo. The logo would make as much sense as 4 inch stripes!
fkaKrock5cent
I always liked KU's now old set. It was modern but not too crazy. This is too plain and the side stripes ruin it. Who thought that was a good idea?
