chickenfish13
I kinda like the old one better, but the new one is pretty unique looking, it's kinda cool. dribbble
BBTV
While I don't think it's particularly remarkable, I consider the new one a definite upgrade. FiddySicks
I kinda like the old one better, but the new one is pretty unique looking, it's kinda cool.I disagree. I can't point to a specific use of it off the top of my head, but I could swear I've seen that font hundreds of times before. eRay
I pretty much love the new one. Great "update" if you will. They kept the idea of the triangle crest that the Snake sat in, and the same colors. I like it a lot. It's menacing, simple, recognizable, and flexible. Very good IMO. CDixonDesign
I agree, the Wordmark is an upgrade, the Viper is a big downgrade IMO...
GFB
Upgrade for me because they finally figured out the difference between a cobra and a viper.

Buffalo
Upgrade for me because they finally figured out the difference between a cobra and a viper.Yep! That's a funny mistake! Suppose I'm glad they corrected it
MarkAtnip
Not to mention the fact that they play in Huntsville. It makes the name Tennessee Valley a touch confusing for those who have never been there. Might help the home attendance at the Von Braun Center if they are cheering for a team that is labeled as "Alabama" instead of "Tennessee Valley"
CreamSoda
Well, seeing how the old one is clearly not a viper but rather a cobra, it's an upgrade.
ManCalledAmp
I'm a little torn. I prefer the old one, if only for nostalgia, clean look, and the fact that it fits with minor league, indoor football. The new one looks too fierce, and a bit clunky and contrived...though I agree with the snake correction, and to an extent with the new name. (Why not just "Huntsville?" Works for the Havok, Stars, UAH, and the defunct Channel Cats...)It's a solid B logo, and may grow on me...but I'm not blown away. Go Gators. Go Blue Raiders. Go Commodores. Go USC Trojans.Preds & Avs. Braves, Rays, & Dodgers. Titans, Colts, Broncos, Cardinals. Grizzlies. 14ers, Jam. Team Spirit + Laziness = Yay. Sec19Row53
Not to mention the fact that they play in Huntsville. It makes the name Tennessee Valley a touch confusing for those who have never been there. Might help the home attendance at the Von Braun Center if they are cheering for a team that is labeled as "Alabama" instead of "Tennessee Valley"The people who live there know where "there" is. The league they're in can have a more big-time feel by not having a "Valley" team name, getting the state instead.Have we seen that Viper before? It looks familiar. It's where I sit. Viper
They should have just enlarged the viper head and used it by itself within the shield (sort of like this version of the Jacksonville Jaguars logo), and kept the wordmark separate. As it is, the new logo is not bad. I do still like mine better though.
EJ_Barlik
Count me among those who like the original snake logo for TVV better that the new AV logo. Guess it's personal preference, right? 5-time Defending NL East Champions
