TFoA
I'm just glad that the Hawks don't have to play the Heat again...for 2 reasons:#1 - The Heat know how to beat the Hawks (not consistently, but still.)#2 - The Heat get to play the Celtics. I wouldn't watch that series if they paid me. Flopamania.

infrared41
nobody's giving the bulls a chance!!!I'm a Cleveland sports fan. Not only am I giving them a chance, I'm firmly convinced that they'll knock off The Cavs in a sweep. It's just how we see things around here...mostly because that's how things usually go around here. Cujo
Kirilenko out. Okur goes down. Yet Utah stays in it because Denver is playing careless and uninspired basketball. This one's going to come down to the wire, although it shouldn't.

I think it's nice that he gives us updates. I don't know about you but I have no idea where to find scores. Thank goodness we have a member who's willing to do the leg work for us. Otherwise we'd be completely in the dark. Do you think we could get him to cover The NFL Draft for us as well?
TFoA
Just as I expected, tomfoolery in the Celtics/Heat series, & it's only game one.So yeah, PP gets double teamed, draws a foul, acts like he's been shot, then KG comes over and escalates the situation, eventually elbowing Q-Rich & earning himself an ejection & a possible suspension from Game 2. I'm guessing that the next game will be a flop contest between PP & Wade.
The_Admiral
The Celtics as presently constructed are destined to fall off a cliff, and it will be a wonderful day when that happens. What a topsy-turvy game up there, where Pat Riley's team is against an all-time band of monumental asswipes. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫
gingerbreadmann
I don't know. I don't really care about the elbow or what anybody said, but KG should freaking know better. There is no reason to put yourself in that situation. He has been playing fewer minutes all year so he could play in the playoffs, and now he is suspended in the playoffs. What does that elbow accomplish? The Celtics are already old, battered, inconsistent, and hated, and there is no need to attract an even worse reputation or put yourself at a disadvantage. Stupid. This has been such a sad downfall. Awful, awful year. Let's just hope there's one good stretch left in these bodies, Pierce has a few more game-winning shots, and see what happens. Hey, that comeback was the most hope-inspiring thing I've seen from the C's in months. But if they do win the championship, then Sheed gets a title to his name. Ugh.
