Arland Bruce is now a BC Lion.

Probably his last chance to prove he's a worth contributor to a team.

I think it is his last chance

Sashatchewan is just terrible, is it just Greg Marshall or is it that Ken Miller left?

Greg Marshall is a fine coach, just not a very good Head Coach. Still tons of time left in the season though.

I always liked Greg Marshall as defensive coordinator in Winnipeg

Ditto for his time in Hamilton as DC. I would place the blame on GM Brendan Taman, who has done a poor job replacing some key players that have left the team.

Well he's certainly consistent. He'll find lightning in a bottle once every couple of years or so, but sits on his thumbs and congratulates himself for a year and a half afterward until his ass is on the line and needs to plug another few holes.

Miss Roy Shivers yet, Saskatchewan?

Late to the party but... No we miss the baby sitter touching ginger... I honestly didnt want to see him go bah... I picked the wrong year to quit drinking... its gonna be a long season

All right, can the Lions finally get their first win!?

I think they should.

Were 5-1 for the first time since 1987! Welcome to Swagerville!

EDIT: (and we really should be 6-0 if TJ didn't fumble against Calgary)

But it did happen--but then again there were other things in the game too where I could say if the Stamps hadn't done this or that the game wouldn't have been as close--oh well, that's part of the fun--looking at what might have been.

The Stamps meanwhile finally win at home--YES!

But thanks to the Bombers for beating the Eskies.

Next time the Stamps will too.

Riders start 1-6 for the first time since 1995. I guess losing the Canadian Air Force really did hurt, but defensively is where their big problem is. I haven't seen it this bad for quite some time.

I'm okay with that.

At the very least you'd think that Marshall would have that side locked down.

I'm glad the riders are terrible, but I feel bad for Marshall and Berry. Maybe when the Riders get Fantuz back in a week they'll be able to pick it up some.

Knew it was going to happen. Just watching the body language from Marshall and Berry last night was down right sad. I feel it was a bit soon, but I guess when your team has been to the Grey Cup 3 out of the last 4 years expectations are really high. Here's hoping they don't turn it around, and sucking until after the Banjo Bowl.

It's been too long since a Bomber Labour Day victory, let alone a Rider sweep.

So that was a suprisibg game to say the least...

It was excruciating to sit through at Commonwealth. At the risk of repeating myself (as I posted the same thing on Facebook last night), to paraphrase the guy on the radio on the way home, the number of beers I drink at an Eskimos game should not be higher than the number of points the Eskimos score.
