Is that being reversed in 2004?Also, why doesn't the USA arch, like it had on the last few versions after the "script USA" ones, or to go back even further the 1984 ones? Also, seeing as though, IIRC, the first dream team used the USA basketball logo (the one on the shoulder) as the wordmark, that one would have been straight also... No arch, no blue as a main color, and those very wide stripes. 96 stunck because it was the patch they wear on the shoulder which needs to go. It's not like the USA is not sufficient. Dumb look. Other than the lettering, I don't see a speck of retro in these jerseys.Also -- I think it's about time a team USA uses red as a main color. No color, between red, white, and blue, is supposed to be more representative in representing America -- yet all sports teams and whatnot that represent the US seem to go with blue jerseys with not alot of red.They look NO more like the 1984 jerseys than they do the 2000 jerseys if you were to reverse the colors. So in essence, they're throwing back to 2000, just with reversed colors? Not everythings a throwback because it looks like a design that was used in the past.
