OchentaYOcho88
A pro indoor football team out of Evansville, Indiana is straight up using a recolor of the old Orlando Rage logo from the XFL http://www.evansvillerage.com/I am on the coaching staff of an pro indoor team (different league) and we strive to be professional to try and relieve the stigma of Indoor ball being a joke... but when there are organizations recoloring logos, not paying players and ripping off their venues... it's really hard. This just REALLY frustrates me.Thoughts?

Sodboy13
Premium Indoor Football Team.Somebody tell me what that's supposed to mean.I think the fact that they not only chose to steal an XFL identity, but stole the worst XFL identity, tells you pretty much all you need to know about this operation. drdougfresh
Overused Lombardi quote, check. Random stock photo with a logo poorly shopped on, check. Stolen logo, check.Yeah, seems like a real winner. I too would like to know what a "Premium" football team is. As opposed to... Diet? Regular? Standard? Morgan33
The logo looks like complete crap... just like every XFL logo. Why in gods name any team would bring it back is beyond my comprehension.
Chawls
I wonder if Vince McMahon/WWE still owns the rights to the team logos? I'm sure he/they do.They don't. Haven't since like 2002 or 2003. No one owns them currently so technically, they aren't doing anything wrong. But could they and should they be more original? Yes. They could and should. Raymie
I've seen some XFL logos floating around at the high school level — the San Francisco Demons wordmark and the LV from the Las Vegas Outlaws both have made appearances on helmets in Arizona and New Mexico in the past decade (Greenway as early as 2003!). But this is too much to have an actual professional football team using it.

Concentrate more on your "coaching" and less on what logos people use legally and you may be better off for it 'OchentaYOcho88'.This has nothing to do with my coaching. But this does have everything to do with the stigma that follows indoor football and it's unprofessionalism and last I checked this is a sports aesthetics board and I was just sharing something I found. I'm sure you would be upset if I were to tell you to concentrate on your own profession and not worry about what uniforms/logos teams are wearing. I like many on this board thing that using someone else's intellectual property is wrong even if the rights are not owned by someone. I don't think it's right for a high school to use another team's logos and I sure as hell think that it is wrong for a professional organization to do so. Sec19Row53
Adding to the shame in all of this is that a member of these boards has designed most (if not all of) the CIFL logos in the past. He's done a good job, as well. It's where I sit.
